Energy disaster awaits EU after this winter – oil CEOs

Remaining Russian stocks will only allow the bloc to survive one heating season

The EU is “in good shape” in terms of energy reserves this winter, however, a real risk of a shortfall lies ahead in 2023, major oil and gas executives have warned.

The region is facing an unprecedented energy crunch following a drop in imports from Russia. The oil and gas shortages, and record-high inflation, have resulted in an overall cost-of-living crisis across the bloc.

But while concerns are focused on the turmoil of the coming winter, it is the next cold season that they should really worry about, CEO of major oil trader Vitol, Russell Hardy, has said.

“We’ve got a difficult winter ahead, and subsequent to that we’ve got a more difficult winter in the year ahead of that because the production that is available to Europe in the first half of 2023 is considerably less than the production we had available to us in the first half of 2022,” he said at a conference in Abu Dhabi last week.

Energy prices have gone off the charts and are close to “unaffordability” with many households “spending 50% of their disposable income on energy or higher,” BP CEO Bernard Looney has warned, agreeing with his colleague that the next winter “in Europe could be even more challenging.”

Even though the EU has managed to fill its energy stockpiles by 90%, according to IEA data, the reserves are made up mostly of Russian gas. But as the bloc is speeding up the transition away from Russian pipeline deliveries, there will be no supplies from the bloc’s former biggest supplier.

“The issue is not this winter. It will be the next one because we are not going to have Russian gas – 98% [less] next year, maybe nothing,” Eni chief Claudio Descalzi pointed out.

Given the demand from China, a major importer of gas, and skyrocketing LNG prices, executives of energy companies are worried about possible social unrest, pointing at some EU countries, like the Czech Republic where households saw their energy bills increase tenfold.

The following Poem which is related is By "The Activist Poet" written in August 2022

Dancing in Minefields

Darker days are coming
I can feel it in the air
anxious moments in the calm
that leaves me in despair.

Europe is at a crossroads
as their sanctions start to grow
the pain is their own making
as history will come to show.

Their actions stopped the wheel
we wait to find out what’s next
economy’s now gone missing
while people look on perplexed.

Energy isn’t moving
NATO falls into a dream
boasting some sort of power
granted by empires meme.

Behind the squawk is the sandman
lurking in shadows below
warning of Russian invasion
while puppets put on a show.

Winter is fast approaching
energy needed for heat
cut off by U.S. direction
sanctions do not bring relief.

The population is restless
lunatics run the estate
legislating their reset
elites are tempting their fate.

Cartel is flexing its mussel
choking with sanctions they do
all attempts then backfire
including calls for a coup.

Conflicts rise with direction
infighting in the E.U.
escalation to conflict
dancing in minefields ensue.

The E.U.’s going to shatter
decisions will come to each state
die with energy sanctions
or push a freedom mandate.

Ukraine - Europe, Energy Supplies & Economic Collapse

By: Stewart Brennan

(This essay was published and shared on Global Research)

As the price of oil, gasoline and natural gas skyrockets around the world, we have come to a major crossroads in history that has the potential to usher in a massive economic collapse of Europe, the United States, and the world.

The additional economic hardships that will befall our communities due to the rising costs of energy, will most likely be blamed on Russia by a cartel of western nations, just as they blamed the self-inflicted economic hardships the world suffered over the last two years, on an orchestrated pandemic [01].

However, the economic energy crisis did not happen all of a sudden, nor was it one event that triggered energy prices to reach the unimagined levels they have reached today, around the world.

Energy Costs March 8th, 2022

- $1.94.9 per liter of gasoline and climbing in Montreal
- $376.00 per mega watt hour for natural gas in Europe [02],
- $130.00 per barrel of oil [03]

The energy crisis was triggered long ago by a series of violent events created by the United States and its allies for control of the declining energy supplies and resources around the world. Two Decades of War crimes that continue on oil producing nations such as Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen, plus their crippling economic sanctions on major independent oil producing nations such as Venezuela, Iran and Russia, have brought the world to the brink of economic collapse.

All of these criminal actions can only be seen as resource wars, due to declining energy supply under the western nations control.

Ukraine

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia is a climactic moment, which culminated through a series of violent events in Ukraine that began by a western backed color revolution which then led to a coup and overthrew of the elected Yanukovich government in 2014. (See Two documentaries here [04] and here [05])

The following 8 years saw American, British, Canadian and European governments arm, train and fund violent elements within the Ukraine Military which then unleashed their genocidal belligerence on the Russian speaking population in the Donbass region.

The western funded operation in Ukraine was very similar to the one they launched on the Syrian people in 2011, which ultimately provoked Russia to step in by 2015 and help their Syrian neighbor, Bashar al-Assad, as Syria was overrun by western backed genocidal terrorists. Russia’s involvement was based out of fear that the western backed terrorist invasion, would spill over into Russia.

The only difference between the western operations in Ukraine and Syria is that the 2014 western orchestrated coup in Ukraine was successful, whereas the attempted terrorist coup on the elected leader in Syria, Bashar al-Assad, was not successful due to Russia’s decision to take an active role in the security of the Syrian nation in 2015. However, the U.S military is illegally occupying the oil producing areas in eastern and northeastern Syria where they are involved in the daily theft of Syrian oil. The U.S. government has also caused great economic hardship on the Syrian people through crippling sanctions, and the destruction of their grain supplies.

In Ukraine, where many of the Russian gas pipelines run through to Europe, the west has done exactly what the Russians feared, as they’ve armed, trained and funded ultra nationalist thugs with a genocidal mindset, that are focused on the Russian speaking people of Ukraine and Russia itself. (See Here [06] and Here [07])

The Russian’s are not playing games, they are deadly serious about protecting themselves from sinister overt and covert western operations against it. The western cartel of nations led by the United States, Britain and the European Union are playing a very dangerous game as they continue their insane belligerent terrorist foreign policy of arming and funding a terrorist army against the Russian Military. NATO’s forces might not be on the ground in Ukraine, but the proxy army of thugs that they armed and trained, is directly engaged.

Countries within this coalition of the insane, such as Australia, has even gone so far as to push for censorship and sanctions on anyone that brings truthful information favoring Russia’s side of the story [08]. In seems that the Australian government doesn’t believe that the ultra nationalists and Neo-Nazi’s in Ukraine exist and that 15,000 civilian deaths in the Donbass region are fake!

The denial and false narrative that Australia stands on, will most likely be adopted by the cartel of NATO nations as well.

As I said in my last post,

“The American, Canadian and European leaders that support these fascists and Neo-Nazi’s in Ukraine, confirm what our western leaders are…I mean, who could support fascism but a fascist.”

In hindsight, the last two years of oppressive and dictatorial mandates by our western governments for a false pandemic, has shown us just how tyrannical and oppressive our western governments have become (See Here [09] and Here [10]).

Of special note here is that even as energy demand was drastically reduced over the last two years, gasoline prices continued to rise. Now however, we are at the cusp of economic collapse as the so-called pandemic disappears, business begins to resume, while energy demand rises with failing supply lines. All the while, western nations are sanctioning independent energy suppling nations and openly providing a steady supply of weapons to terrorists that the cartel of western nations support, but especially against Russia.

The world is indeed at a most dangerous crossroads, I mean, what insane mentality, pushes a nation to self destruct morally, politically and economically? I never imagined, that I’d see this in my lifetime, a collective suicide by a block of nations.

Energy & Europe

The price of the European Union’s interference in Ukraine since 2014 along with their warring economic sanctions against Russia will continue to unfold in the coming days, weeks and months, and it’s guaranteed to bring hardship on the European citizens due to higher energy prices, mass inflation, unemployment, food scarcity and eventually population revolt. These are the direct consequences that come from the U.S. and European Unions economic and covert terrorist war on Russia.
Europe and the United States have shot themselves in the foot due to their belief that they are in a position of power over Russia...they aren't, that's just pure supremacist hubris, because both Europe and the United States are dependent on oil to sustain their economies, but especially Europe who is dependent on both oil and natural gas, of which they have very little, and depend on Russia for a large portion of their supplies. (40% of the E.U. gas supply comes from Russia).

To date, even though the European Union have imposed massive economic sanctions on Russia, the Russian government has not turned off their gas supply to Europe.

The exponential rise in energy prices, are not Russia’s fault. Russia continues to deliver gas and oil supplies to Europe. It is the United States that has a dictators influence over Europe.
The U.S. government drives the economic war on Russia, which includes disrupting or stopping all future energy lines that they do not control to Europe.

Europe’s energy problems would go away overnight if the USA was not involved. The Nord Stream II gas pipeline from Russia to Germany is now complete, and ready to supply energy to Europe but the project is facing political opposition that stems from the United States to their vassal European partner Germany.

Iran is still waiting to make energy deals with Europe but have been blocked, sanctioned and threatened by successive U.S. governments who have isolated Iran from being an energy provider to the west. The United States simply refuses to cooperate with the Iranians.

Libya was a large independent oil and gas provider to Europe, that is until the U.S. and NATO destroyed the entire country and disrupted its energy supply lines to Europe…

At the moment, the rising price of gas in Europe is fostered by the US governments desperate attempt to keep Europe under its energy control by sabre rattling with Russia via Ukraine. In a twisted way, it makes the US LNG plan, affordable, even though U.S. gas is 3 times more expensive than Russian gas.

The main goal of the United States Government is to keep Europe under its political and economic control. As long as the U.S. can supply or guarantee oil and gas supplies for its European allies, the United States will remain as a significant world power.

However, in the American’s eyes, if Europe was to continue buying cheaper Russian Gas and oil while continuing economic trade with the Russians, the United States would find itself somewhat reduced from being a dominant partner to one of irrelevance. If Europe was smart, they would stand up together against to the American bully and look to their survival.

So, if the E.U. does not grow a spine of their own, the European position and support of belligerent elements in the Ukraine government, which includes Neo-Nazi's, will hasten the end of the European union as we will see in the near future when energy becomes the fine line between economic survival and economic disaster of the individual European nations. EU members will begin to break away from the anti-Russian coalition and make energy deals with Russia which by nature will open up badly needed economic trade routes for them…that is if we do not have a World War before this happens…

There is a joke circulating on the internet that just might be the epitaph for the hardcore European Union nations; it goes like this:

Q: What did the European Union use for lighting in their homes before candles?

Answer: Electricity

The Looming Collapse and Population Reset

By: Stewart Brennan

The Long Slide into Poverty and Collapse - A Peak Oil Pandemic?

As the western world collapses into fascism [01] by tyrannical measures enforced on the population via a pretensive threat and battle with an illusive flu, western economies are on the brink of collapse.

It should be noted however that western economies were already in serious decline before the so-called pandemic was announced in March of 2020, so blaming the pandemic for the looming collapse as our governments are doing is ludicrous. Besides, if there was a real pandemic, it would not have been selective on the population’s elderly, and would not persist for two years without anyone developing a natural immunity to it. Everything coming out of the establishment’s propaganda ministry is based upon some fictitious belief rather than the facts on their pseudo pandemic. [02] It’s more a pandemic of lies and coercion. [03]

Even still, the current push for mandatory inoculations and future boosters continues to destroy all personal freedoms, liberties and community cohesion while wrecking the independent mom and pop economy at the same time.

Variant after variant of flu virus has been introduced by organizations (C.D.C., W.H.O.) controlled by the economic cartel who continuously feed mainstream media and government with propaganda to scare the population into obedience. These, for profit only, experimental inoculations, embraced by the establishment, are useless and dangerous while the bullying restrictions put in place on those that don’t comply are Orwellian and very abusive. So, it’s no wonder that a growing number of people are refusing to take these inoculations and subsequent boosters, all of which by the governments' own admission, do not work.

In essence, the pandemic has become the cartels tool to consolidate the entire economy into their own hands while also ushering in a totalitarian iron grip on society as they eliminate all the freedoms we once enjoyed, including freedom of speech which has been curtailed by censorship right across the Internet by targeting information that challenges their narrative on masks, lockdowns, vaccines and the pseudo pandemic in general.

So, why is censorship being employed on anyone that confronts the narrative on their pandemic? Why is the economic cartel so determined to get their way? What are they afraid of? Why have they taken this totalitarian road and what is their end game?

Looking Beyond the Pandemic for Answers

If we take a side step and look at some of the problems that have been emerging in parallel to the cartel’s pandemic, through all the lockdowns, leash laws and various dictates of ludicrous measure that we’ve had to endure from government mandates over the past two years, two curious economic constants have remained throughout, and they are; (1) inflation and (2) the high price of gasoline.

The price of gasoline did not drop for long when demand was severely curtailed by the global COVID lockdown in 2020, the price held steadfast for a while but then climbed when business and oil demand began to return. However, inflation has soared since the market crash of 2008-2009 and continues to do so, especially now in 2021 when the higher demand
for gasoline returned as we emerged out of the second lockdown [04].

In late November 2021, concern was raised in several industrial nations to tackle rising inflation with an attempt at lowering gasoline prices [05], namely the USA, India, Japan, South Korea and the UK, who tapped their reserves and dumped what amounts to a day’s worth of global oil demand into the bottomless energy sponge of the global economy; but to no avail. The price of gasoline was unaffected and did not stabilize until a new variant of COVID (Omicron) was announced on November 26th. Since then, gasoline prices have remained stable…for now.

In Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the place I live, gasoline prices had climbed to $1.56 / liter in November 2021 from the steady $1.18 / liter we were paying before the so-called pandemic was announced! When we went into lockdown in 2020, demand for oil and gasoline was dramatically reduced, yet gasoline prices remained relatively unchanged even though the price of oil had dropped.

An interesting observation in all of this is that the gasoline prices surged to nine cents higher than the $1.47 / liter we paid in 2008 when Oil was selling at $147.00 / barrel. Oil costs which drive inflation more than anything, broke the economy and popped the fraudulent over-inflated housing bubble, which then sent oil and gasoline prices tumbling in the market crash of 2008 - 2009.

The thing is, today, oil is selling under $80.00 per barrel, yet the gasoline prices are hugely inflated causing economies to teeter on the verge of collapse. The resulting inflation to the entire economy, is of course, being blamed on the pandemic and the variety of measures that governments have taken for a so-called pandemic.

Yet at the heart of the continuous inflation since the crash of 2008-2009 is the fact that the economic system was never allowed to completely crash and go bankrupt and then correct itself from bankruptcy.

Instead, the private banks along with the wall street investment banks who were directly responsible for the real estate bubble and market crash, were bailed out with trillions of dollars in interest free money by a US government rubber stamp.

Over the course of the last 13 years, since 2008, a massive amount of the economy was bought up with this free money which went into money making schemes, dividends, real estate inflation and investment payouts. The stock market has thus inflated by 300%.

Inflation in the real economy has been the result, while at the heart of the fractional reserve debt-based economy, is a monster that requires constant growth [06] to keep the entire fraudulent system afloat.

However, at the central core of modern economics, that makes everything run, is “energy” but more specific, “Oil”. So, a question arises, “have we passed the peak oil threshold?” [07]

Fear, Inflation and a Long Winter

The current economic wave of destruction and supply line shortages, are being blamed on COVID but what is really happening? Why have governments turned so tyrannical and violent on their own people for a flu that is 99.98% survivable?

Inflation, [08] which is a hidden feature of our interest-bearing debt economic system, is soaring, mainly because of the high amount of debt on the global reserve American dollar, due in part to the trillions of dollars created and used for its military empire around the world (800 Military bases) which of course includes its global war of terrorism on oil producing nations, but also because of the huge derivatives created and payable in the over inflated stock market that has taken real estate prices to unreachable levels, and then there is the increasing costs of energy (Oil, natural gas and gasoline).

Inflation is most notably seen in food, heating, transportation and housing costs, which are a direct strike at the heart of community; and of course, this inflation is not taken into account by government when measuring the cost of living [09].

Looming Disaster

If another lockdown is employed in the winter of 2021 – 2022, due to this new mild flu variant called “Omicron”, it has the potential to send the world economy for another great fall, as supply and demand goes from peak to crash like a continuous ramp wave in terminal decline.

Clearly, we have arrived at another major supply / demand threshold, all of which holds the world population as a hostage with the collapsing supply lines that uphold our economic subsistence.

Inflation has hit everything, which has the affect of destroying the buying power of our currencies, while by consequence, parts of the economy disappear. Food and fuel are directly affected, continuing the cycle of economic decline that destroys our standard of living, making it harder for the masses to make ends meet.

On December 18th, 2021, the Netherlands became the first country to go back into a hard lockdown [10] as a result of the new variant Omicron. So, will the rest of Europe and North America follow? My guess is that they will.

Not only would another lockdown destroy what’s left of our communal economy, but the rich will get richer, the poor more destitute [11], the middle class more hollowed out while homelessness expands. The one thing that will drop temporarily during a lockdown or economic crash however, is the demand for oil and gasoline, but don’t count on food, heating and gasoline prices lowering very much, if at all, as supply lines continue to disappear. Is it all by design? Are we in a controlled collapse?

Let’s look further...

Declining Resources

The higher grades of oil [12] that are used to make gasoline [13] and diesel are in terminal decline and are becoming much more expensive to extract, while abundant but inefficient energy intensive and environmentally destructive projects like tar sands [14] are simply too costly to extract as it requires an additional energy source (natural gas or electricity) to heat the water that removes the dirt and sand from it to leave it in its final state; a thick goo. Not only are they costly, they are environmentally destructive and require massive amounts of water at a ratio of 4 to 1 to extract it, while the toxic waste is a ratio of 2 barrels for every barrel of tar sands oil.

The large global population puts a great strain on oil and gasoline demand, and so, if we do make it to out of the current economic collapse with the population intact, you can be sure that the contracted economy will contract again in the near future, with similar results, placing more of the economy into the same hands, while poverty increases and society sees more totalitarian measures put in place to keep it from revolting. By consequence, as revealed throughout history, poverty has a way of reducing the life expectancy of the population it effects.

Of course, the lockdowns are not about the economy, right? It’s all supposed to be about a tricky little corona virus that defies the laws of immunity as its reported to somehow evolve into a new deadly variant that our immune systems cannot handle, even in those who were coerced into playing vaxxine roulette twice…soon to be three times, then four, five and then every three months until you die.

Energy and the Economy

There is still no solution yet, to replacing oil as our primary energy source. Everything, including our food, is based upon it. Massive farms with mechanized equipment, fertilizer and pesticides, transportation, distribution, jobs to earn a living to buy the food, home heating, most electricity production, and most of the daily products we use. All of it relies on gas and oil, in a world with a growing population that requires more materials and energy to function within the debt-based system.

The Rock that Shattered the Economic Glass House

There is a very interesting parallel in the timeline between the creation and implementation of the COVID pandemic narrative, oil supply, and the sudden collapse of economics and society, which began to intensify after the United States government, under the Donald Trump administration, continued their economic war on Iran after refusing to certify the 5+1 agreement [15] and then officially announcing a return to a war of economic sanctions on May 8th, 2018. [16] Additional sanctions were imposed in 2018 and then again in June 2019 [17] where the US government boasted that they would, “bring Iran to its knees”; and “bring Iranian oil exports down to zero”. [18]

However, as the USA was busy losing ground in their resource wars throughout the Middle East and Africa, “Yemen’s Military”, who were an American military target of Saudi Arabia, and friend to Iran, hit the heart of the Saudi oil storage facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais [19] using advanced drones, destroying the Saudi facilities on September 14th, 2019.

After Yemen’s military struck the Saudi oil storage and loading facilities, it was announced that the damage from the attack, crippled Saudi exports by 50% and that it would take days, then weeks, then months to repair the damage. However, once the facilities were said to be back online, the oil output was almost 2 million barrels a day short of expected levels.

By December 2019, Saudi Aramco had put up a percentage of its company up for sale in an “Initial Public Offering” (IPO) on the Saudi Stock Exchange. So why would the Saudi’s sell off part of the only resource they have for future survival, if their economy was heavily dependent on oil sales and production? Have the Saudi’s gone past their peak in oil production? Have the costs of extracting Saudi Oil become too expensive?

“OIL” is the sole natural resource that Saudi Arabia possesses, so their plan to sell off their oil assets is a huge red flag not only on their future but on the future of global growth economics, because Saudi Arabia is said to have 5% of the worlds recoverable oil when the tar sands of Canada and Venezuela are included but 25% of the worlds remaining medium quality oil used to make gasoline. Of course, the power base of the western economic cartel, have been tapping this Saudi Oil for the western economies for over 80 years and oil doesn’t replace itself, as the last twenty years of western war on oil producing nations has shown. The 50% cutback is hugely significant for the global economy, especially for the western nations who continue to rely on Saudi oil.

It was not long after this incident at Abqaiq and Khurais that COVID-19 came into play, which by all measures, was planned and revealed at event 201 on Oct 18th, 2019. [20] The resulting lockdown of the global economy in 2020, which was one of the scenarios planned for at Event 201, had the effect of “destroying global oil demand”. [21]

But also of significance was that the energy leverage the United States once had on the World was laid bare and shown to be in decline especially after the collapse of their environmentally destructive and cost intensive fracking oil projects [22] that were rapidly put in place after the market crash of 2008 but also intensified and increased around 2012, due to global oil demand after the US and NATO destroyed Libya, Africa’s largest oil producer.

The result of their intensive fracking project made the USA a temporary oil exporter and supplier once again, but especially to Europe, since they had to find a way to replace the lost Libyan oil supply to Europe while also trying to maintain the insane illusion of their global superpower status. By coincidence, U.S. fracking oil projects peaked in 2019 and have since gone into a major decline.

The US reserve currency which is controlled by the economic banking cartel is of course heavily dependent on oil and its continued energy supply to Europe… (Europe being an economic block within the economic cartel with minimal oil and gas of their own).

A large portion of the best remaining oil grades used in the creation of gasoline to supply the global economy reside and belong to independent countries such as Iran and Russia [23], who themselves have admitted to facing peak in their own productions. Even more curious is that despite the number of economic sanctions the Americans have placed on Russia, the USA still imports more than half a million barrels of oil from Russia daily.

Another major oil supplier is Iraq. However, the US military occupies Iraq and so the USA already have a hammer’s say in that country’s oil exports…for now.

Tensions are Mounting

If we also look at Europe’s natural gas problem in 2021, which the US Government is exasperating by political and economic leverage over European nations to block the certification of Russia’s newly built Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to Germany, [24] tensions are beginning to mount via NATO backed Ukraine as they’ve mobilized half their armed forces (125,000 soldiers) [25] to the Donbass region, which of course borders Russia. Tensions are continuing to mount.

The war on all fronts for oil and gas by western nations, led by the USA, continues, but has taken a very sobering turn as the United States uses Ukraine in a propaganda war to encroach on Russia, while constantly threatening Iran. Also of significant note is that Africa’s largest oil producing nation, Libya, the oil producing nation that the US and NATO destroyed in 2011 [26], has returned to the news recently when Saif Gadaffi announced he is running for the Libyan presidency [27] to unite Libya once more.

Before its destruction in 2011, Libya was a major supplier of oil and gas to Europe and the world, but when competition for future drilling projects began to favor China instead of the western oil majors, a war was launched on Libya by the cartels attack dog NATO, who in the process, lynched, tortured and killed Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi. [28]

So as Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi returns to the spotlight to re-unite his country, it will be interesting to see how this next chapter plays out energy wise, as the demand for oil and gas worldwide slides down the descending side of peak.

Conclusion:

The American reserve currency, which carries a huge deficit, and is pegged to oil, is now in serious decline and no longer the desired currency of trade by a growing number of countries [29], mostly because of American belligerence and economic bullying. So, as margin call looms, the massive torus of accumulated U.S. debt is pulling the United States dollar under an ocean of broken promises into collapse.

All western currencies are tied to the failing U.S. dollar, and so we are at a crossroads, where totalitarianism has suddenly re-emerged through a false pandemic, where decisions by western leaders are looking more desperate as they use emergency health dictates as an excuse to enforce their populations compliance into a police and surveillance state; while hiding the real reasons our economies have been in a constant economic decline for decades.

We are now at a point in history when constant economic growth can no longer be maintained due to the limited supply of cheap energy and the growing energy demand by a growing population.

Since cheap oil is all but a thing of the past, economic growth will no longer be able to rise, as the oil supply can no longer meet the growth demands. Growth is exponential while the energy and resources required to maintain it, are finite and in decline. Therefore, massive amounts of capital will need to be erased by consequence, which means economic collapse, poverty and famine will ensue; all of which is controlled by a consolidated economic cartel that has resigned itself to self preservation over the needs of the global population.

One thing is for sure, the lock-downs, mask laws and fear peddling on COVID-19 have put economic changes into high gear around the world, as the destruction of global economics that functions via the US reserve currency, is now heading for a major correction and market call. Inflation and bankruptcies are escalating, supply lines are evaporating, all while the cartel plans for its New World Order via its economic reset plans announced by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum [30] and by Prince Charles at the UN Climate Change Conference, COP 26 [31].

“You’ll own nothing and be happy” ~ Klaus Schwab

Global stock markets and economics are controlled by the same cartel of people by virtue of their shares and oversight of everything economic, which is why we are seeing a totalitarian controlled collapse. Bailouts, stock rigging and the control of resources are in the hands of the same people. Including the future plans for world governance.

Will the competition for oil between the US & China [32] continue to heat up? Will the United States continue waging economic war on the independent oil producing nations? Will the major competing nations, clash over oil and bring with it global conflict? OR, has an agreement been reached by the wealthy controllers within each nation around the world through the United Nations VIA the World Health Organization, to avert a global war, save themselves while forcing economic and population contraction through the agreed upon measures of Agenda 21 [33] and Agenda 2030 [34]?
Is the fake pandemic, inoculation program and economic collapse the road to depopulation? For how could the sustainable growth that the cartel is promising, ever happen when “economic growth” is already impossible?

We are about to see the next stage in global totalitarianism through the new variant they are calling “Omicron” so you can bet that lockdowns and mandatory / forced inoculations will continue to be implemented by governments all over the world while we also deal with a collapsing economy, inflation, and an energy crisis that follows. All of which have the quickest path to the overall collapse [35] of society, the results of which could usher in the four horsemen of the apocalypse…global conquest, famine, war…death.

So, while the world goes into lockdown after lockdown under the guise of a false pandemic, the economic cartel have been consolidating, by stealth, what remains of the global economy through a controlled economic collapse and that of course is with the help of the rogue leaders of our nations, who have streamlined a totalitarian security state of varying degrees on the people of the world while also taking serious inroads to depopulation through forced inoculations and their looming economic collapse.

Why COVID-19 was used to bring down the Global Economy

The following post is a snap shot of the current global Geo-economic picture from the World Economic Forum’s point of view including analytical commentary by yours truly, Stewart Brennan.

The World Economic Forum is one of the main Western Economic Cartel think tanks.

Forward:

Global domination has been the goal of every empire or conqueror of the past 3,000 years. The Romans, Greeks, Macedonians, Mongols, Chinese, Brits, French, Germans, Spanish, etc.…they all had one thing in common, an unquenchable greed and lust for power; and the application of it through their form of “Economics”.

In case there are some not familiar with who the Western Economic Cartel is, I will tell you. The Economic Cartel is a consolidation of business, finance and private banking institutions of the wealthiest families on the planet who have total economic and governing control over large swaths of the world. The World Economic Forum is their think tank, and the fractal reserve, interest bearing debt, private banking system is their tool and means to achieve global domination.

The Western Economic Cartel through the “World Economic Forum”, has laid out a plan for a global economic reset in 2021 [01]. To understand the bigger picture in what they are after, and why they used COVID-19 as an excuse to lock down the global economy and Geo-Economics, it is imperative to read the section of their plan on “Geo-Economics” (which I have included below) and then ask the question, "Why did the Western Economic Cartel back US Military and economic domination of the world since 1945 while also backing China's rise and drive for economic domination since the 1970’s?" - I'll tell you, because maintaining "Global Economic Control" through banking via the Bank of International Settlements, Central and Private Banks by the few requires a “Reset” once the old fraudulent economic system can no longer function due to extreme debt, inflation and poverty.

Private banking is set up as a pyramid scheme where the bulk of all wealth flows in one direction to the top…to put this into context, the people of the US and China were used as pawns to achieve total control of global economics for an over privileged gang of crooks and predators who made their way to the top of the food chain by economic stealth. Global Economic control in today’s world is a consolidation of wealthy families and oligarchs who own the majority shares of private banks and Industry from just about every nation.

The topic below, is from the World Economic Forum’s "Geo-Economics".

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Geo-Economics from “The World Economic Forum”.

Summary

Geo-economics: [02] where nation-states impose control over the logic of commerce to achieve their goals. While the term was first coined in 1990, geo-economic rivalries did not fully emerge until after the 2008 financial crisis. Particularly since about 2014, countries have refined the use of economic tools to attain their geopolitical objectives and weaken rivals; some analysts have characterized this as the “weaponization of interdependence.” This exposes people to increasing related pressures, and multinational corporations and banks have had to adapt to heightened related risks. Global stakeholders should think about how to best contain geo-economic tensions, in the interest of more effective international cooperation on matters like climate change, migration, and the impacts of COVID-19.

This briefing is based on the views of a wide range of experts from the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network and is curated in partnership with Nicholas Mulder, Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University.

Institutional and Regulatory Instability

As traditional authority frays and trade wars mount, geo-economic institutions are being undermined.

Geo-economic concerns are beginning to shape economic regulation, both domestically and internationally. Individual states are increasingly invoking special circumstances in order to withdraw from, or to simply ignore international agreements. As a result, institutions such as the World Trade Organization are under serious pressure as their authority frays in a global trading landscape wracked by political disputes. The privileging of strategic industries in some countries - and the provision of subsidies to state enterprises - has made it more difficult to establish international norms on competition policy, product regulation, quality control, and environmental protection. Concerns about the security of access to resources such as food, water, and minerals, as well as a mounting wariness of the potential for corporate abuse (embodied in the European Union’s General Data Privacy Regulation, a measure aimed at helping people track use of their personal data that is the current gold standard for global data governance) may result in an even more divided global regulatory environment.

Traditional rules and institutions that rely on a politically harmonious global economy face an increasingly uncertain future. The EU, for example, has a reputation for effective and influential rule-creation - but its relatively strict competition policy enforcement has attracted criticism for preventing mergers in the defense, manufacturing, and technology industries that are seen as strategically important for geo-economic competition. Meanwhile newer institutions are shifting power away from the Bretton Woods Institutions (the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund) established at the end of World War II, which grant Western states a disproportionate amount of global influence. Asian economies are at the forefront of this rebalancing; the New Development Bank, established by the BRICS countries (Brazil, China, India, Russia, and South Africa) in 2014, is headquartered in Shanghai and is committed to financing infrastructure and sustainable development projects in emerging economies and developing countries, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, headquartered in Beijing, began operations in 2016 with an eye to financing infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region - and its lending activity is growing.

Security Scrutiny of Foreign Funds

Governments are taking a closer look at investment directed at strategic industries and infrastructure.

The increased prominence of geo-economic policy has cast global “Foreign Direct Investment” patterns in a new light. The global stock of FDI grew significantly beginning in the late 1980s, before coming to a halt during the global financial crisis more than a decade ago. Although it recovered slightly in the immediate aftermath of the crisis, overall levels have since declined. Global foreign direct investment fell by 13% in 2018 compared with the prior year, marking the third consecutive annual decline, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Increased government scrutiny of foreign investment in key industries may only further dampen FDI activity. The US and the European Union have each passed legislation that imposes stricter standards on foreign investment in their defense and telecommunications sectors, electricity grids, power installations, and pharmaceutical, IT, aerospace, and shipbuilding industries. The Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act (FIRRMA) of 2018 changes the way the US reviews foreign investment based on national security concerns, while the EU’s FDI screening regulations established in 2019 set requirements for security reviews by member states.

Some recent examples of close scrutiny applied by domestic governments to foreign investment include the US’s reluctance to permit the use of technology from China’s Huawei in American communications networks, Germany’s decision in 2018 to block the purchase of tool manufacturer Leifeld Metal Spinning by a Chinese suitor, and Canada’s decision that same year to block the planned takeover of construction firm the Aecon Group by a Chinese company. Although these geo-economic measures are unlikely to lead to a total collapse of FDI, they do create a more complicated new landscape for international investors. If they continue unabated, the investment ecosystem is likely to split into two spheres. One is a large domain accessible to global players and marked by high levels of competition and speculation. (I.e.: The Economic Cartel) The other is a smaller, less accessible national realm where governments maintain tight control over investment and production (in a way that verges on a monopoly or oligopoly) in the interest of national security (I.e.: CHINA) - with correspondingly high profit margins for the small cartel of firms operating within it.

Infrastructure Decoupling

If you are a country at risk of losing access to vital infrastructure, you may want to create your own.

One of the most consequential recent trends in geo-economic competition - which is usually expressed through sanctions and tariffs, regulatory competition, and intense investment scrutiny - is the effort being made by national governments to create their own alternatives to global infrastructure networks. These attempts at rewiring globalization are often responses to the political exploitation of crucial channels of exchange. The US-instigated removal of Iranian banks from the SWIFT international payment network in 2012, and again in 2018, is a case in point - a supposedly neutral payments infrastructure was manipulated for political purposes by a powerful government, calling into question that network’s reliability as a safe, impartial technical system. In response to similar sanctions threats, Russia began in 2014 to develop an alternative to SWIFT, dubbed SPFS, which went into operation in late 2017 and has since been linked to China’s international payments system, CIPS. SPFS has reported that it now has hundreds of users and agreements with a number of foreign banks and legal entities in Iran, Turkey and India.

In addition to financial payments systems, the trend towards “decoupling” from established infrastructure is becoming more prominent in the realms of computing and 5G communications networks (which deliver far greater internet speeds and hold out the promise of modern economies built around internet-connected devices and autonomous mobility). Although the Chinese firms ZTE and Huawei hold globally dominant positions when it comes to 5G equipment and phones, other firms such as Sweden’s Ericsson and Finland’s Nokia have also been rolling out 5G networks. Because of its connection to the so-called Industrial Internet that connects growing parts of national manufacturing sectors to the web, 5G-related competition between the US and China has been particularly fierce. It has mixed up the commercial motives of chip and technology producers with the strategic objectives of national governments (and their intelligence services) keen to retain control over data and information-sharing networks. Although the US has labelled Huawei a security risk, it remains to be seen whether its concerns related to Chinese government surveillance will have an impact on the broader spread of 5G infrastructure.

Trade Conflict

Global trade and manufacturing supply chains were disintegrating even prior to COVID-19.

Under the Trump Administration, the US has pursued aggressive trade policies targeting China. This has resulted in what are now the highest tariff levels inhibiting international trade since the early 1960s. Combined with the COVID-19 crisis, the Sino-American rivalry is causing serious geo-economic instability. Progress made by January 2020 in easing bi-lateral tensions may now be lost - through unintended consequences, such as trade barriers to imported Chinese medical supplies, have forced a limited policy reversal by the US. The global recession triggered by the pandemic may be considerably worse than the 2008 global financial crisis - and it comes as the US has ramped up hostilities not only with China but also traditional allies such as the European Union, Japan, and Canada. This has prompted some leaders to reassess their trade relations with the world’s premier superpower, and in certain cases resulted in retaliatory tariffs targeting the US. These trade hostilities already in place before COVID-19 may significantly hamper the global economy’s ability to quickly recover once the pandemic recedes.

While much of the current trade hostility has its roots in a growing American desire to regain competitiveness (with rivals and allies alike), economic rivalries are feeding greater levels of political antagonism. The longer the general atmosphere of trade conflict continues, the more it is likely to spur wider strategic and ideological conflicts among the US, the EU, China, and Russia. While some protective and retaliatory tariffs may be justified in specific industries, there is a real danger when these measures become entrenched - especially during a pandemic, when greater collaboration is needed. However, another important area of tariff development is one that could have a genuinely positive effect on international cooperation: so-called carbon border adjustments, which incentivize both developed and developing country exporters to fulfill their emissions reduction targets under the Paris Agreement on climate change. Unlike other tariffs, these measures create new opportunities for investment in renewable technology, and can help create greener supply chains. A productive way to wind down the current period of trade conflict would be to embrace these carbon tariffs while removing others.

The Economic Weapon

Countries are increasingly targeting each other with economic sanctions.

Countries have been applying economic sanctions since the end of World War I. But their use has increased dramatically since the 1970s - and since the end of the Cold War in particular. The US, the European Union, and the United Nations are the most avid users of sanctions, though the breadth and impact of their individual programs vary considerably. The most severe variety are US extra-territorial sanctions, such as those targeting Iran and North Korea; these measures block global firms and banks from conducting business with or in targeted countries, on pain of legal prosecution in the US and exclusion from US markets. Sanctions can potentially inflict serious damage on the social, economic, and environmental conditions of targeted countries, but their effectiveness as policy measures is often mixed at best (most research suggests that their economic effects are more significant than their political efficacy, which is generally limited). The most effective sanctions are often those that are merely threatened, rather than actually imposed.

The growing use of sanctions poses three specific risks to the global economy. Mounting compliance costs for any firm engaged in international trade and investment can be onerous, and even when sanctions are lifted these firms require reliable guarantees that formerly-targeted countries are once again safe for doing business. This means that a country’s post-sanctions economic recovery is often lacklustre. Oftentimes, sanctions are left in place for many years - or even decades. This can stunt economic development, and entrench political animosity. Governments and businesses should explore all available options to curb the growth of sanctions, which reduce prosperity, impose severe material and social costs, and often deepen rather than resolve international political disagreements. There is also a risk of unintended negative consequences; by further antagonizing countries, sanctions can raise the risk of war. Even for those countries clinging to a tenuous peace despite ongoing economic conflict, sanctions are fragmenting the international networks of exchange that they rely on, and generally pushing globalization in a more unstable and military conflict-prone direction.

Strategic Industrial Policy

A growing number of countries are developing the means to weather storms and spread influence.

Industrial policy has been an important part of many countries’ economic development for the past two centuries. In the US these policies have been used since World War II to build up autonomous research, development, and production capacities in strategic industries - particularly in defense. More recently, China has begun to actively use industrial policy to reduce its reliance on foreign suppliers in high-tech industries, under the “Made in China 2025” program. In the realm of central banking, Russia is building up a large reserve of foreign currency in order to help it independently weather crises - something that Southeast Asian countries did in aftermath of the 1997 Asian financial crisis. Meanwhile South Korea and Gulf states like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have developed strategic food policies that involve purchasing vast tracts of land in East Africa to grow cereals and grains. While policies like this can bolster growth and socio-economic development - especially when geared around positive efforts tied to renewable energy and green technology - they can also have detrimental effects on the well-being of local populations and the quality of governing institutions.

This tension is apparent in China’s ambitious Belt and Road infrastructure-building initiative. Belt and Road has led to a boom in construction activity due to lending standards that are looser than those at the Bretton Woods Institutions (the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank). It has also increased Chinese control of key foreign ports and railroads, and local populations have been excluded from many of its benefits due to its reliance on Chinese workers. The ultimate geo-economic consequences of the initiative remain unclear; many participating countries continue to have serious governance problems, exacerbated by being flush with foreign money with few strings attached. On the other hand, Belt and Road has provided development finance for countries that face serious structural challenges. While Western institutions like NATO show no sign of clashing with Belt and Road projects in the countries where they overlap (including Italy, Greece, Turkey and several Balkan states), there is increasing concern about growing Chinese power in many Western capitals. As long as such concerns do not produce more pro-active Western economic and financial engagement with the underdeveloped regions participating in Belt and Road, the underlying causes of these anxieties will remain.
-----------------------------------------------------------

The Hidden Topic:

At face value, every word and action made by the western economic cartel revolves around economic control but what is not talked about is the truth of what controls economics and our economic destiny…and that topic is energy. i.e. “OIL”, but more urgently in regards to our economic destiny is, “Peak Oil” [03].

We are now at a point in history where constant economic growth can no longer be maintained due to the limited supply of cheap oil and the growing demand by a growing global population. Economic growth takes on an exponential nature [04] under the current private banking system which is controlled by oil in terminal decline. Therefore, we can no longer count on the current consumer debt economic system to continue providing a way of life. If we continue relying on a decaying system built by consumer growth and debt, it will cause great harm to the global population through its economic collapse. [05]

Oil is a part of every consumer item we produce. It is also very prevalent in the production of our food, its growth, packaging and transportation. Higher energy costs mean higher food prices and I’m sure you would agree that food more than anything outweighs non-essential consumer items.

Therefore, in a time of growing demand and increasing prices due to inflation, cost reduction becomes tantamount to a corporations’ bottom line and continued existence or they simply cannot survive in this economic paradigm. I.e. When growth is no longer possible in a market and costs exceed the products value, a company must inflate prices or go bankrupt.

Lean Manufacturing 101

When inhouse materials become too costly to make (as overhead costs are factored in) they are outsourced to other companies that produce the products at a lower fixed price. That is why most of the North American industrial capacity was moved to China, I.e. cheap production costs…the western Industrial capacity and economy was directly affected by the offshoring of these jobs to China and the jobs were allowed to go because western governments were lobbied by corporate and private banking interests of the western economic cartel into accepting their growing Chinese exports. NAFTA played an important role in this from 1992 to present as it allowed companies to leave North America via Mexico and then straight on to China. There was no consideration for our communities by western governments or corporations when they offshored the manufacturing jobs to China, and so the North American standard of living has shrunk considerably.

In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, China was labeled as an unfriendly communist country and not a good potential business partner by the United States, Great Britain, and Canada, especially after the Tiananmen Square incident, at least that was the “verbal appearance” our governments made to the public but in reality, China and the western economic cartel were in stealth business together. I was in the packaging Industry so I saw it first hand.

If there are doubts about this, then ask yourself, how is it that the western governments allowed our Industrial capacity to be sent to China while allowing the import of “Made in China” products to flood our markets since the 1990’s while also plugging China into all the oil they needed even in Canada’s Tar sands[06] to power up their economy?

China needs to import vast amounts of oil to maintain its huge economy and today, they get the oil from every oil producing country on the planet, including those under the western economic umbrella.

The western economic cartel, helped built China’s economy, and now China is poised to assume the global economic leadership from the USA. Is this not by design?

Reducing Oil Consumption

It’s true that in the past 20 years, we have seen technology fixes that have helped reduce our consumption of oil such as the elimination of products by digitization (music, movies, photos, paper, etc.) including the consolidation and contraction of business volume with products manufactured in China. But the COVID-19 event has single handedly reduced oil consumption by an incalculable amount across the world and we are still in the throws of this seemingly never-ending operation.

However green it may seem, we still rely 100% on jobs created within a collapsing economic system, when we should actually be focused on a new deal and the preservation of the basic elements of life and community. Unfortunately, the majority of us are disconnected from nature and the environment which is needed to sustain our existence.

What we have not seen, and probably never will, is the western economic cartel relinquish their economic power; nor have we seen them converse with the public in a truthful honest way forward out of the peak oil and economic mess we are in. They seem more concerned with spinning a web of lies to maintain control of economics and power rather than the preservation of humankind.

The Global Economic War

With the “Global Economic Reset” slated for 2021 as per the World Economic Forum, China is waiting patiently to assume the global leadership role on technology, global economics and military power. The only hurdle in their way is Donald Trump, who has thrown a wrench into the economic gears of the western economic cartel’s plans to crown China as their New World Order champion; replacing the USA.

Ever since Donald Trump came to office in 2016, the western economic cartel has been in overdrive trying to thwart his every move while also trying to remove him from office.

As Donald Trump overturned the economic cartel’s trade agreements (TPP & NAFTA) and then imposed economic sanctions with mounting tariffs on Chinese goods, he made a stand against the western economic cartel and China by maintaining a nationalist position and keeping a 2016 campaign promise.

China, for its part, reciprocated the Trump Administration sanctions and countered each US economic slap with one of their own, helping to drive a wedge between the two economic superpowers into two polarizing economic spheres engaged in an economic war.

As far as China is concerned, the deal they made with the western economic cartel in the 1970’s, that raised China out of poverty and into a global economic Power with government approved access to western markets is no longer needed…and so China pushed back at the western economic cartel with their own global economic banking structures powered by national central banks and large oil producing partners to power themselves up with a, “go it our own way attitude”.

So, we are left with the following to ponder;

1.     Was COVID-19, the western economic cartels operation to save face in their partnership with China in lieu Donald Trumps economic war?
2.     Was COVID-19 used to begin the economic decoupling from a China led World Order?
3.     Was COVID-19 used to hide the inescapable economic facts of Peak Oil.[07]

Since cheap oil is all but, in the past, economic growth cannot continue to rise exponentially as supply can no longer meet those types of demands, therefore massive amounts of capital will have to be erased due in most part by the self-serving economic equation employed by the private banks.

One thing is for sure, the lock-downs, mask laws and fear peddling on COVID-19 have put global economic changes into high gear as the destruction of global economics that functions via the US reserve currency, is now heading for a major correction and market call, bankruptcies are escalating, all while the cartel plans for a New World Order via its economic reset plans.

The Chinese Banks and economy are in a very strong position[08] because they use four State controlled central banks that create and spend their own money into existence to power their growth while carrying little to no debt which includes energy partners that supply them with the oil needed to power their economic drive. Whereas the US Treasury and the American people are on the hook for trillions of US dollars loaned to them through the western economic cartels Federal Reserve, not to mention the hundreds of trillions in derivative debts that will become very real when major interests cash in, causing panic and a US stock market crash. The Oil leverage that the United States once had on the World is also in decline…yet it is not the US as a nation that controlled global economics through oil but the western economic cartel that controls both the monetary systems and oil corporations that keeps the economic system in their control.

China doesn’t need to do anything right now except sit and wait…

The western economic cartel’s continued use of their false COVID-19 pandemic [09] will determine which economic paradigm will emerge from the ashes. As it stands now, COVID-19 is being used in western nations to force people to wear masks under penalty of the law, even though the masks don’t work, and on a petered-out flu virus at that. Most travel, outside ones’ nation, is still forbidden and there is talk of another lock-down in western countries. These unreasonable laws are totalitarian and not based on facts. The western mainstream news and governments do not provide any proof that COVID-19 is worse than the annual flu and yet the doctors and specialists that are speaking out against the lock-down, mask wearing and providing statistical facts are being censored by corporate internet social media platforms and search engines in league with the World Health Organization and the western economic cartel.

It’s as if COVID-19 is being used to supress the global economy on purpose which coincides with the lead up to the November 2020 election. All while the economic cartel uses every media trick in the book to hamstring Donald Trumps push for a second term as US President…

The closer we get to November, the more we see street violence, media deception, corporate censorship and panic…the stakes are getting higher and the western economic cartel is extremely determined to get their way. Is this a coincidence?

The United States is divided into two camps going into their November 2020 election, those in favour of Donald Trump and his nationalist “Make America Great Again” program and those opposed…most of whom believe whatever fear-porn or fabrication they are told by mainstream media. However, regardless of who wins the November 2020 US election, the American people will be bitterly divided leaving the country on the threshold of oblivion. Division of the people is how a nation is destroyed while thieves make off with all the money…this is such a time.

There is a Better Way for all of us to live on this planet but it requires transparency and honest governance with an informed and engaged population by investigative journalism that is not controlled by special interests.

The world of “Economic Cartels” and totalitarian dictatorships must come to an end. Economic control must be removed from the hands of the few and returned to the population within each country...it’s time for a sober discussion on how to move forward together.

Censorship and economic dictatorship by an economic cartel does NOT further the enlightenment of mankind, nor does it bring fairness, honesty or a lasting peace...the solution and way forward is to end all economic cartels and their corporate / private banking governing structures. The nations of the world must move towards a resource-based economy that removes the greedy power structures that control our societies and destroys our environment. Everyone has a responsibility and part to play in rebuilding our own communities / countries while bridging our differences with each other. The truth is, “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”. Economic dictatorship must be dismantled because it always leads to war, and “War” is not an option in a nuclear and biological age…nor is economic deception an option by an economic cartel in a world of peak oil…it’s time for mankind to evolve…
