Bus Bomb in Tel Aviv was a False Flag Attack

The Bus bombing in Tel Aviv today (November 21st, 2012) was a false flag attack to drum up sympathy and support for an Israeli government that is committing Mass Murder in the Gaza strip.

I’m sure there are some inside Gaza or the West Bank that would love to claim responsibility for the bombing, but in truth the only ones that will gain from this crime are the Israeli and Western governments image, as they search for ways to hide their acceptance of ethnic cleansing in the current Gaza massacre.

Israel, and the Western governments that back the despotic regime are being challenged by an informed public that demands justice for the Zionist War Crimes being committed in Gaza.

Repercussions of a Planned Invasion on Gaza

Moving forward with the pre-planned Israeli ground invasion of Gaza will spark an exponential outcry by the global public to demand immediate cessation of relations with Israel.

The international political landscape would be changed immediately under this scenario and the implications will certainly destroy the credibility of every western government leader should nothing be done to villianize Hamas before they begin their pre-planned invasion. The establishment will never admit that Israel is wrong so they have been scheming of ways in which to change the direction of public opinion.

You can be sure that evil minds have been hard at work to find a way in justifying a ground war on Gaza and since the scenario needs to be within the confines of Israeli control, they decided to come up with the elusive bus bomber.

The type of minds are we dealing with here are absolutely evil in every way. Consider that these monsters can commit indiscriminate mass murder on the women and children of Gaza and get away with it time and again. Israel is a lunitic state that is out of control…and your Western leaders approve of their despotic actions!!

Bombs Placed on a Bus

The story is so full of holes that one has to wonder at the shear insanity at play trying to convince the World that it was an outside terrorist attack. Itis only a matter of time before they blame someone for the attack, and we all know whom they will blame…

As the story goes, a bomb was PLACED inside public transportation (Bus) as opposed to a suicide bomber and when it was further investigated a SECOND bomb was found that did not go off. These bombs were planted in one of the most security control freak states in the World!

Afterwards, Israeli police claimed that they are looking for 2 men, which contradicted eyewitness claims of one person fleeing the scene. Later the police arrested someone but then let him go…starting to sound familiar.

Hamas did not claim responsibility for the bombing incident although with the anguish and grief they are experiencing during these grievous times, I’m sure they would love to or at least express some sort of gratification to ease their suffering. If Hamas was going to carry out an attack inside Tel Aviv they would have attacked a significant structure such as the Knesset or IDF Military Building and you can be damn sure it would have been huge!

Internationally, we already know who will be blamed by the Western Zionist Controlled Media, and we also know what our bullshit western leaders would say publicly AGAIN and that is, Israel is justified for committing a holocaust on the Palestinian people.

However, what these ass holes have failed to see is that hundreds of millions of people around the World are politically, socially and intellectually awake and have already seen through this self inflicted, FALSE FLAG ATTACK in Tel Aviv. I don’t believe the Israeli officials side for one second, do you. This attack was carried out by Israeli Mossad, end of story!

Recent Israeli war on Gaza pre-planned: Israel diplomat

An Israeli diplomat says the Tel Aviv regime’s ongoing aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip was pre-planned.

In an interview with France 24 TV channel on Tuesday, Freddy Eytan said the Israeli regime had long been preparing for the attack on Gaza, but was waiting for an opportunity to enforce the plan.

Assassinating the senior commanders of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas was also part of the Israeli mission, the diplomat stated.

Eytan also said that a ground operation against the Gaza Strip would be possible if the desired goals of the Israeli regime were not achieved.

Tel Aviv has intensified its deadly attacks on Gaza despite Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s expression of hope for a ceasefire.

On Wednesday, Israeli Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said Tel Aviv will continue its attacks on Gaza despite ongoing truce talks.

Meanwhile, Gilad Sharon, son of former Israel Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, has said that the regime should “flatten Gaza” in the same manner as the United States ruined Hiroshima in its nuclear bombing of the Japanese city in 1945.

“We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn’t stop with Hiroshima - the Japanese weren’t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.”

Over 135 Gazans, including women and children, have been killed and more than 1,100 others have been injured in over 1,450 Israeli attacks on the besieged Palestinian territory since November 14.

Israel struck media offices in Gaza twice on Tuesday and killed three Palestinian journalists. The IDF claimed the buildings, which included an AFP bureau, were being used by Hamas to direct military operations, and were legitimate targets.

Two Israeli strikes have left three Palestinian journalists dead, with media buildings targeted by the IDF two days in a row. The AFP building was hit in another attack later on, with no casualties reported.

Mahmoud al-Koumi and Husam Salameh, cameramen for the local al-Aqsa TV station, were killed in a car marked with a press sign near the al-Wihda towers in Gaza.

Both journalists were 30 years old and fathers of four children. Two other al-Aqsa employees were wounded in the first strike.

The second attack killed the director of al-Quds Educational Radio, Muhammad Abu Aisha, in his car.

Then, the AFP building in Gaza was hit, with no casualties reported so far.

A series of massive explosions, followed by a massive blackout, were also reported near the Al Shorook building in Gaza, which houses several media outlets.

Later on, airstrikes targeted two hotels in Gaza where reporters covering the Israeli assault were staying. There were no reports of deaths, but Press TV correspondent Akram al-Sattari was injured. Hugh Naylor of The National newspaper told Ma'an news agency said the blasts blew out windows in the Deira and Beach hotels.

Meanwhile, the IDF posted on its Twitter that its air forces “surgically targeted a Hamas operations center on the 7th floor of a media building in Gaza”, with a “direct hit confirmed.” The IDF also tweeted a warning to all journalists to stay away from Hamas facilities within Gaza territory, claiming that the group will use them as human shields.

The al-Qassam Brigades have responded with a “Warning to Israelis: Stay away from Israeli #IDF = #IOF, We just targeting Israeli soldiers, fighter jets, tanks and bases."

The Al-Sharouk compound, which houses many media offices in Gaza, has been targeted once again in an Israeli airstrike. Islamic Jihad says one of its top leaders was killed in the attack.

A pillar of smoke was seen billowing from the 10-story building as fire engines and ambulances rushed to the scene. Islamic Jihad says one of its top militant leaders, Ramiz Harb was killed in the strike on Monday. Harb is a leading figure Islamic Jihad's militant wing, the Al Quds Brigades. The IDF described Harb as a chief propagandist for the mlitant group.

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) confirmed via Twitter that four Islamic Jihad operatives who were hiding in a media building were the intended target of the attack on Monday. Several people are also reported to be wounded.

"The senior PIJ [Palestinian Islamic Jihad] cadre was operating in a media building. They were't [sic] there to be interviewed. They were using reporters as human shields,” the IDF tweeted.

“We targeted only the 2nd floor, which is where the senior terrorists were. The rest of the building was unharmed. Direct hit confirmed,” they continued.

Apart from Harb, Baha Abu al-Ata Tissir, the commander of Islamic Jihad’s Gaza City Brigade, and senior operatives Mahmoud Mahmed Jabari and Halil Batini were believed to be in the building at the time of the attack. It is currently unknown if the other three men died in the attack.

The International Federation of Journalists demanded a full inquiry by the United Nations to investigate deliberate attacks by the Israeli military against media buildings in Gaza and to “take action” against the country’s government.

"The international community must respond immediately to this outrage. The rights of journalists in conflict zones have been particularly highlighted by the United Nations and members states cannot stand by when one state acts in a reckless and dangerous manner," the group released in a statement on Monday.

Six journalists were injured following a previous Israeli airstrike on two buildings in the media compound early on Sunday. RT’s office in Gaza was also affected by the attack. RT Arabic correspondent Saed Suerki said the Israeli Air Force (IAF) had intentionally targeted the tower blocks, which have housed foreign and local media offices for over a decade. Suerki said four missiles hit their office building.

Witnesses said the buildings were evacuated after the initial attack, which was followed by at least two more hits. Two buildings were heavily damaged.

Sky News, Italian RAI, German ARD, Kuwait-TV are among the media outlets working out of the compound. The Hamas TV station, Al Aqsa is located on the top floor. Some of those injured on Sunday were employees of the Palestinian Ma’an news agency. A cameraman for the local al-Quds TV had his leg amputated as a result of injuries he received during the strike.

The Middle East Foreign Press Association demanded an explanation as to why the IDF was targeting media buildings, which is a violation of international law, following Sunday's airstrike. Reporters Without Borders also condemned the Israeli missile attacks.

The IDF responded "if Hamas commanders in Gaza are able to communicate, they can attack us. This is the capability that we targeted." The Israeli military said it was aware that foreign journalists were in the buildings, but were not directly targeted in the airstrikes.

Israel PM says ready to expand Gaza operation after Hamas resumed fire

Israel is ready to “significantly expand” Gaza operation, stated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Hamas militants fired at least nine rockets into Israel as the fifth day of Israel’s Pillar of Defense began.

Out of the nine rockets launched, three hit Israel and another four were successfully shot down by Israel's Iron Dome air shield, including the two rockets that targeted Tel Aviv. Two more were unaccounted for.

One of the rockets hit the roof of a four-story building in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon, slightly injuring one person. Four others were in need of psychological help after the incident, according to Israeli medics.

It was also earlier reported that Hamas’ Qassam Brigades fired a “107 Rocket” at an Israeli warship, according to Al Arabiya.

On Saturday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he would agree to a ceasefire if Hamas agrees to stop rocket fire from Gaza. And during the night, Hamas has sharply decreased the number of attacks on Israel.

Sunday morning Israel has continued to attack Gaza for the fifth day of its Pillar of Defense operation and took out a media compound with a targeted airstrike. At least six journalists were injured during the incident, Palestinian medical authorities reported.

Among the outlets damaged are local, Italian, German, Lebanese and Kuwaiti channels. An IDF report of the strike described the target as “a communications antenna used by Hamas to carry out terror activity against the State of Israel.” Israel sees al-Quds TV as a Hamas propaganda branch.

Later, reports that an 18-month-old Palestinian boy has been killed in new Israeli airstrike on Gaza came to light. And earlier, it was said that a total of three children have been killed since midnight in Gaza by Israeli shelling, according to the Twitter feed of Reuters correspondent Noah Browning in Palestine/Israel.

After these attacks on Gaza, the IDF reported that rockets were fired from Gaza.

Now it's payback time Why Obama should bust Netanyahu for 911

US President Barack Obama speaks at his last campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa on November 5, 2012

Dr. Kevin Barrett

Source: Press TV
http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/11/11/271578/now-its-payback-time-why-obama-should-bust-netanyahu-for-911/

All observers admit it: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did everything in his power to destroy President Barack Obama's political career.

President Obama should return the favor.

He should destroy Netanyahu's career in the biggest, most spectacular way possible - by busting Netanyahu for 9/11.

The major US and international media, owned and operated by cheerleaders for Israel, are so terrified by this prospect that they are trying to pretend it is “business as usual” between the US and Israel - maybe even between Obama and Netanyahu - despite the obvious blood feud between the US president and the Israeli prime minister.

One exception: The post-election Yahoo News story headlined “Obama victory spells trouble for Israel's Netanyahu.” The author, Jeffrey Heller, writes: “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces an even more awkward time with Washington and re-energized critics at home who accused him on Wednesday of backing the loser in the US presidential election. With Iran topping his conservative agenda, Netanyahu will have to contend with a strengthened second-term Democratic president after four years of frosty dealings with Barack Obama and a rift over how to curb Tehran's nuclear program.”

Heller's article frames the dispute between Obama and Netanyahu according to the Israeli propaganda template. It suggests that Obama's only two choices are (a) to launch a major war against Iran, as desired by Netanyahu, or (b) to continue imposing sanctions to starve the Iranian people, in order to punish Iran's leaders for pursuing a peaceful nuclear energy program - a program that is completely legal under international law, unlike Israel's massive, illegal nuclear weapons program!

These may be the only two choices that are acceptable to Israel. But they are not the only choices available to Americans.

American strategist Zbigniew Brzezinski, in his 1999 book The Grand Chessboard, pointed out that the most important single element of a viable US strategy in Eurasia is friendship with Iran. What Brzezinski did not state outright, but left for the discerning reader to discover “between the lines,” is that Israel is badly damaging US national interests by forcing the US to be an enemy of Iran.

Israel hates Iran because Iran's leaders, like the vast majority of the people of the Middle East, do not accept apartheid Israel as a legitimate state.

That is indeed a problem for Israel. But why is it a problem for the US?

If the US maintained good relations with Iran - not a client state relationship as existed under the Shah, but a friendship-of-equals based on mutual respect and shared interests - the US strategic position in Eurasia would be greatly enhanced.

Then why is the US starving the Iranian people, murdering Iranian scientists, paying MEK terrorists to bomb and kill large numbers of innocent people, and generally doing everything it can to hurt Iran? The short answer: Because Israeli interests dictate US Mideast policy.

Some apologists for Israel claim that it's really about US dollar hegemony. They say that Iran's move to sell oil and gas in other currencies threatens the US dollar, which is why the US is so antagonistic to Iran.

What these critics don't understand is that the US dollar is not the US dollar. It's the Zionist dollar.

The US dollar is issued by the Federal Reserve, a private corporation owned by the biggest “American” banks. But those banks are not really American. The leading banksters who create American dollars out of nothing, backed by nothing, are ethnically Jewish and primarily loyal to the state of Israel.

After all, the Rothschild family, the biggest of the “eight families,” created Israel as its base of criminal operations. Even mainstream historians admit that Lord Rothschild created Israel in 1917 by handing the British an offer they couldn't refuse: “We can win World War I for you, by dragging America into the war - but in return, you must give us Palestine.”

To put it simply: The Rothschild-led bankster cartel has been occupying Palestine since 1917. And it has been occupying the USA since the Federal Reserve coup d'état of 1913.

So the US and Iran are actually allies, not adversaries, in the battle against Zionist dollar hegemony.

The Zionist bankster cartel that prints our currency out of thin air can easily print enough money to buy up virtually all major Western media. That's why most Westerners have unconsciously accepted a pro-Israel world-view.

The banksters also have enough money to buy as many politicians as they need. That is why the US Congress and the White House are Israeli-occupied territory.

But today, thanks to Netanyahu's overweening chutzpah, Obama and allied forces in the US military and intelligence communities have a chance to do what no US President since JFK has dared to do: Tell Israel to go to hell.

All Obama has to do is go on television and announce: “We have discovered credible evidence of Israeli involvement in 9/11 and the subsequent cover-up. As of this moment, I am declaring a state of national emergency based on undeniable evidence that our nation has been covertly attacked and occupied by a hostile foreign power. I have ordered the FBI to arrest several thousand suspected Israeli agents, and I will be forming a second 9/11 Commission, led by former President Carter, to expose the full, horrible truth about the 9/11 attacks.”

Such “scorched earth” payback from Obama would be exactly what Netanyahu deserves.

Netanyahu, a close personal friend of confessed 9/11 criminal Larry Silverstein, went on record immediately after 9/11 chortling that the attack on America was “very good.”

Then he quickly added that what he really meant was that 9/11 was very good for Israel.

It is time for President Obama to make Netanyahu eat those words. It is time for the President to shove those words right back down Netanyahu's throat. It is time for Barack Obama to demonstrate that he is President of the proudly independent United States of America, not just a puppet of Israel and its bankster mafia. It is time for President Obama to end Israel's stranglehold on American finance, American media, and American foreign policy.

It is time for President Obama to give Netanyahu the payback he has worked so hard to earn.

But does President Obama have the courage, integrity and statesmanship to save the world's biggest power, the USA, from a filthy little country run by certifiable madmen?

Does he have the courage to do the one thing that will end the phony “war on terror,” and earn him his thus-far-undeserved Nobel Peace Prize? Does he have the vision to do the one thing that could win him “greatest president ever” status in the history books?

Can he get away with it and escape assassination?

The next four years will answer these burning questions.

Israel seeks war on Iran to keep lid on 9/11

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/09/20/262683/israel-seeks-iran-war-to-keep-lid-on-911/

Almost every politically-aware person on the planet is puzzled by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's bizarre obsession with Iran. Netanyahu is risking his political career, his reputation, and Israel's future by intervening in the US presidential elections.

He is using all of Zionism's considerable might - including organized crime assets like “Las Vegas Godfather” Sheldon Adelson - to force Obama to attack Iran; or, failing that, to make sure that Obama is defeated by the Zionist puppet Romney. There are even rumors of Israeli-sponsored assassination attempts on Obama.

Even the rabidly pro-Zionist Jewish Daily Forward has editorialized:

“It’s difficult to recall a time when an Israeli prime minister has inserted himself into a presidential election campaign in the way that Benjamin Netanyahu has. It’s even harder to recall a time when a trusted ally openly urged the American president to undertake a questionable, unpopular and highly risky war. We sure hope Netanyahu knows what he’s doing, because the stakes for him - and for the two nations he professes to care about the most - could not be higher.”

The Jewish Daily Forward has good reasons to wonder whether Netanyahu knows what he's doing. The editorialist cites polls showing that the American people strongly oppose attacking Iran, even if war breaks out between Iran and Israel and only US intervention could save Israel! These polls show that American voters no longer give a damn whether Israel, which has chosen to live by the sword, finally dies by the sword. As Dave Lindorff observes, Netanyahu's mad obsession with pushing the US into yet another unwanted war for Israel “may have fundamentally undermined the long-standing 'special relationship' between the US and Israel.”

And still Netanyahu continues on this seemingly suicidal course. He even orders the Mossad and its CIA assets including Gladio veteran Terry Jones to unleash a rabidly anti-Islam film, spammed into the faces of every Muslim on the planet via millions of dollars of computer server time and intelligence agency expertise - an obvious attempt to fan the flames of Islamophobia and pave the way to a US war on Iran for Israel. Obama, who is on record saying he hates Netanyahu and that Netanyahu is a liar, and who knows that Netanyahu manufactured the “Innocence of Muslims” crisis to try to get Romney elected, responded by refusing to meet with Netanyahu in New York, and going on the David Letterman Show instead. A more blatant snub could hardly be imagined.

So, what in the world is Netanyahu really up to? Does he actually believe that Iran has a nuclear weapons program, even though the CIA has certified that it does not?

Of course, he doesn't really believe such nonsense. Even hard-line Israeli strategists admit that Iran appears to be only developing nuclear expertise, not actual weapons. Furthermore, Iran has not attacked another nation in centuries.

Since the “nuclear crisis” is a hoax (like alleged Iraqi WMD in 2003), then what is the real reason for Netanyahu's Iran obsession? Is it the Iranian government's support for anti-Zionist resistance groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, and its calls for an end to Zionism through free and fair elections?

Perhaps. Iran's open commitment to principled anti-Zionism represents the nearly unanimous position of the people of the Middle East, who have never accepted the genocidal Zionist entity as a legitimate state. Israel has been able to bully every other government in the region into shameful silence. The Islamic Republic of Iran will not be silenced. Threats to level Iran with bombs seeks to send a message to future Middle Eastern governments: Do not give a voice to your people's resistance to Zionism, or else!

But while starting a war might seek to punish Iran for its anti-Zionism, such a war would carry terrible risks for Israel. In the impossible event that all goes well for Israel on the battlefield, the suffering of the people of Iran would probably shame the world into turning against Zionism even more sharply than the world turned against apartheid in the 1980s.

But there is no guarantee that things would go well for Israel on the battlefield. Iran has the capability to riddle Israel with rocket attacks, or even to take out Israel's Dimona nuclear facility and perhaps render Israel and much of the surrounding region permanently uninhabitable. And Israel does not have the capability to seriously damage Iran's nuclear energy program without US help. If the US intervened on the side of Israel, Iran could shut the Straits of Hormuz, and possibly sink many, if not all, of the ships there with Sunburn missiles, driving gasoline prices over USD 10 a gallon and paralyzing the world economy. Additionally, Iran has the capability to massively attack the US bases that surround it, killing thousands, if not tens of thousands, of US soldiers. A US president, especially one who dislikes Netanyahu and puts America's interests ahead of Israel's, would be very unlikely to help Netanyahu attack Iran.

Given that a war on Iran is an all-loss proposition for Israel, why is Netanyahu fanatically fanning the flames of war, to the extent that even his American Zionist cheering section is baffled and embarrassed by his behavior?

Some question Netanyahu's intelligence, arguing that he is just a furniture salesman who has been promoted far beyond his level of competence. While there may be some truth to this - I certainly wouldn't want to overestimate Netanyahu's intelligence - I don't think he's quite that stupid. I think Netanyahu has a very good reason to prefer war with Iran, despite all its risks, to peace. I think he does know what he's doing.

Netanyahu needs the 9/11-triggered 100-years-war on Islam to continue for the very good reason that if it does not, the State of Emergency still in place in the US will be lifted, and Americans, unencumbered by the National Security restrictions of wartime, will quickly learn what really happened on September 11th, 2001. That possibility poses a very real existential threat to Israel - and to Netanyahu.

As Alan Sabrosky, former Director of Strategic Studies at the US Army War College, told Press TV: “I have had long conversations over the past two weeks with contacts at the Army War College, at the Headquarters Marine Corps, and I have made it absolutely clear in both cases that it is 100 percent certain that 9/11 was a Mossad operation. Period. If Americans ever know that Israel did this, they are going to scrub them off the earth.” And even if Israel were “scrubbed off the earth” peacefully through a one-state solution, Netanyahu would certainly hang for his role in the 9/11 attacks.

Unfortunately for Netanyahu and Zionism, Dr. Sabrosky isn't the only US National Security insider leaking the truth about 9/11. A very large number of military and intelligence people have come forward. The two biggest recent leaks are revelations by CIA asset Susan Lindauer that the CIA had detailed foreknowledge of 9/11 and attributed the controlled demolitions of the three NYC skyscrapers to “those goddamned Israelis”; and the assertion by Gwenyth Todd, who worked beside Richard Clarke on the National Security Council, that Clarke (who was publicly fired from an earlier job for being an Israeli spy) is the top suspect as hands-on controller of 9/11 from the US end. Yes, you heard that right: Richard Clarke's colleague on the National Security Council, Gwenyth Todd, suspects Clarke of masterminding and running the 9/11 attacks. If Todd and other high-level sources are right about this, Clarke's book title Your Government Failed You is an understatement.

Some of the same high-level sources who point to Richard Clarke as the US boss of the Israeli-instigated 9/11 false flag operation also claim that President Obama, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dempsey, and other powerful Americans are considering exposing the truth about 9/11 during a second Obama term. In other words, Obama's re-election could put Israel out of business, and get Netanyahu hanged from the nearest lamp-post.

No wonder Netanyahu is “overplaying his hand” by doing everything he can to get rid of Obama. And no wonder Netanyahu is desperately trying to throw gasoline on the “clash of civilizations” fire and trigger war with Iran. A huge Middle East war, no matter how destructive, would maintain the wartime State of Emergency in the US and impeded the inexorable revelation of America's biggest state secret: That American traitors, including Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George W. Bush, Richard Myers, and others, helped Israel blow up the World Trade Center, bomb the Pentagon, and kill 3000 Americans on 9/11.

Romney will support Israel’s unilateral strike on Iran

US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will support Israel if Tel Aviv decides to launch a unilateral military attack against Iran's nuclear energy facilities, his senior campaign aide says.

"If Israel has to take action on its own, in order to stop Iran from developing the [nuclear] capability, the governor would respect that decision," Romney's senior national security aide Dan Senor told reporters on Sunday.

The US presidential candidate is meeting with top Israeli and Palestinian leaders today as part of a six-day international tour designed to shore up his foreign-policy credentials abroad and woo Jewish voters at home, Bloomberg reported.

“My message to...Israel and...Iran is one and the same: I will not look away, and neither will my country,” he will say according to excerpts of his speech released by the campaign.

This is while the Israeli daily Haaretz reported earlier on Sunday that US National Security Adviser Tom Donilon has informed Israel of Washington's ‘contingency plans’ for a possible attack on Iran, should the negotiations between Tehran and the P5+1 fail.

During his visit to Israel two weeks ago, Donilon also shared information on US weaponry and military capabilities for dealing with Iran's nuclear facilities.

Washington and Tel Aviv have repeatedly threatened Tehran with a military strike to force it to halt its nuclear energy program, claimed by the duo to have been diverted towards military purposes.

But Iran has dismissed the allegations and the threats, pledging a crushing response to any attack on its soil.

US assures Israel of 'contingency plans' to attack Iran if talks fail

US National Security Adviser Tom Donilon has informed Israel of Washington's ‘contingency plans’ for a possible attack on Iran, should the negotiations between Tehran and the P5+1 fail, an Israeli paper says.

The Israeli daily Haaretz reported on Sunday that US President Barack Obama's national security adviser briefed Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the plan during his visit to Tel Aviv two weeks ago.

Citing a senior American official who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the report said Donilon has assured the Israeli premier that the US “is seriously preparing for the possibility that negotiations will reach a dead end and military action will become necessary.”

Donilon also shared information on US weaponry and military capabilities for dealing with Iran's nuclear facilities.

Last week, Secretary of US Air Force Michael Donley said the force’s new bunker buster bombs, each weighing 15 tons, were ready to be used in an attack.
According to the report, these bombs are intended for fortified bunkers.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has told EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton that the ‘stalled talks proved that the time had come to move from talk to action to stop Iran.’

However, Ashton, who is scheduled to meet Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in the coming days, said she was still hopeful the standoff could be resolved diplomatically.

Washington and Tel Aviv have repeatedly threatened Tehran with a military strike to force it to halt its nuclear energy program, claimed by the duo to have been directed towards the acquisition of military nuclear capability.

But Iran has dismissed the allegations and the threats, pledging a crushing response to any attack on its soil.

An editorial in the Israeli daily Ha’aretz says Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister for Military Affairs Ehud Barak are creating "falsehoods and deceptions on the Iranian issue.”

The article, published on Sunday, said while former Israeli premiers such as Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert did not allow war rhetoric against Iran “to reach apocalyptic proportions,” Netanyahu has baselessly turned the Iranian issue into the be-all and end-all.

According to the editorial, while there is a consensus among experts that Iran's nuclear energy program “is being conducted methodically” and does not pursue a military capability, Netanyahu and Barak are creating "falsehoods and deceptions" on the issue.

“Many people, among them [Israel’s] Chief of Staff [Lieutenant General] Benny Gantz” believe that Iran will not produce a nuclear weapon, the article adds.

Gantz said on April 25 that he does not believe Iran will pursue nuclear weapons after years of efforts made by Tel Aviv and its allies to convince the world otherwise. He described Iran's leadership as “very rational,” who would not make such a decision.

Tel Aviv has recently been subjected to harsh criticisms by the regime’s military-intelligence officials over its stance towards Iran.

On April 27, former Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) director Yuval Diskin said Netanyahu and Minister for Military Affairs Ehud Barak were not fit to stand at helm of the Israeli regime.

“I will tell you things that might be harsh. I cannot trust Netanyahu and Barak at the wheel in confronting Iran. They are infected with messianic feelings over Iran,” Diskin said.

Pointing to the recent wave of criticisms targeting the Israeli policies on Iran, senior Iranian author and Middle East expert Dr. Ismail Salami said, “A rift the size of a potential coup is taking shape between the Israeli government and the military-intelligence men over Iran, a fact which threatens the ruling Israeli political apparat on the one hand and exonerates Iran of all years-long groundless allegations on the other.”

The US, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program.

Washington and Tel Aviv have time and again threatened Tehran with a military strike against its civilian nuclear facilities.

Iran argues that as a signatory to the Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

China has called on Israel to put an end to its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip after the Israeli premier vowed that the besieged enclave would be pounded “as long as necessary.”

"China is concerned about the escalation of the situation in Gaza," Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Liu Weimin said in a press briefing on Monday.

"We call upon the Israeli side to stop air raids against Gaza. We hope parties concerned can stop firing immediately in order to avoid casualties of innocent civilians."

China’s reaction to Israel’s offensive against the blockaded region of Gaza coincided with a fresh wave of Israeli air raids on the impoverished area on Monday.

The raids claimed the lives of three more Palestinians, including a 15-year-old teenager, bringing the number of casualties to 21. Nearly 40 people were also injured in the Monday attack.

Benjamin Netanyahu warned a day earlier that Israel would continue its offensive against the blockaded enclave as long as it deems “necessary.”

The attacks began on Friday when Israeli jets launched air raids on the Gaza Strip, killing Zuheir al-Qessi, the head of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) and fellow-member Mahmud Hanani.

Israeli warplanes and ground forces have frequently attacked Gaza since the end of the 22-day war on the territory in 2009. Most victims of the raids are civilians, including women and children.

Fresh airstrikes by the Israeli military on the Tel Aviv-blockaded Gaza Strip have left at least 35 people, including nine children, injured, Press TV reports.

The raids took place late on Sunday, shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would continue to launch airstrikes on targets in the coastal enclave as long as it deems it necessary.

"We will act as long as necessary,” he said at the beginning of a cabinet meeting in al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Sunday.

Tel Aviv has escalated its attacks on the besieged Palestinian territory in recent days. Eighteen Palestinians, including a 12-year-old child, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the coastal sliver since Friday.

Israeli warplanes and ground forces have been frequently attacking Gaza since the end of Tel Aviv’s December 2008-January 2009 war on the enclave, which killed more than 1,400 Palestinians.

Gaza has been blockaded since 2007, causing a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.

The full-scale land, aerial, and naval siege has turned the enclave into the world's largest open-air prison.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will continue to launch airstrikes on targets in the Tel Aviv-blockaded Gaza Strip as long as it deems it necessary.

"We extracted a high price from them and will continue to do so," Netanyahu said at the beginning of a cabinet meeting in al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Sunday, referring to the Palestinian resistance groups based in Gaza.

"We will act as long as necessary,” he added.

Eighteen Palestinians, including a 12-year-old child, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the besieged coastal sliver since Friday.

Thousands of mourners participated in a funeral procession for the victims on Saturday.

“We condemn the silence of the international community, including the United Nations Security Council and the UN General Assembly. Because it is clear now that Israel is a criminal entity and continues to defy all international laws. Therefore, it is our right to resist the occupier. We tell the world that we will defend our people using all available means,” said Abdullah Shami, a member of resistance group, Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, on Saturday.

Israeli warplanes and ground forces have been frequently attacking Gaza since the end of Tel Aviv’s December 2008-January 2009 war on the enclave, which killed more than 1,400 Palestinians. Most of the victims of the attacks are civilians, including women and children.

'US, Israel dealt blow to Arab peace plan'

Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah

Hezbollah secretary general has described the latest speeches by the US president and the Israeli prime minister as a final blow to Arab peace initiative.

Addressing thousands of his supporters in the eastern village of Nabi Sheet on the occasion of "Liberation Day," which celebrates Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000 after 18 years of occupation, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday that Obama and Israel have the same goals: continuation of occupation and damaging resistance.

Nasrallah said when President Obama made his speech at the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC, he hinted that Israel does not have to stay behind its 1967 borders.

Obama in his Middle East speech last week insisted that the borders issue should be the basis for stalled direct talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He later emphasized that his position reflected the stances of previous US administrations and not his own.

Nasrallah also slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for calling al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel.

He also criticized Netanyahu for urging the Palestinian Authority to abandon a unity deal with Hamas, saying this shows that Israel and the US do not want Palestinians to unite.

He also urged the Arab League to drop a peace initiative with Israel, presented by Saudi Arabia in 2002 which offers Israel full normalization of ties in return for its withdrawal from occupied Arab land and the creation of a Palestinian state.

"Is it not time that this initiative be dropped as an option?" asked Nasrallah.

The popular cleric also urged Syrian people to "protect their country'' and give a chance for the Syrian leadership to implement reforms, stressing that toppling the Damascus government would serve only US and Israeli interests.

"We are worried about what is being plotted for the regime in Syria and the Syrian people,'' Nasrallah said adding that "President Bashar Assad believes in reform and is serious and ready to go a long way toward reforms, but in a calm and responsible manner."

An Israeli diplomat has resigned in protest to the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

Ilan Baruch, who served at Israel's foreign ministry, said he opted to resign from the office he holds in protest to the polices advanced by the Netanyahu government.

“The diplomatic policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman are harming Israel's international standing,” Baruch wrote in a letter to Israel's foreign ministry officials, Ha'aretz reports.

"In the last two years certain messages were reiterated by the country's leaders, [messages which] outrage me and which I cannot ignore,” the Israeli diplomat went on to say.

"I find it difficult to represent them and honestly explain them," Baruch wrote.

“The government was sworn in two years ago, its members have voiced a persistent reluctance to the international demand to withdraw from occupied territories," he noted.

Elsewhere in his letter, Baruch said "A malignant dynamic has formed, which threatens Israel's international stance and undermines its legitimacy.”

He also stressed that Israel should learn lessons from South Africa's apartheid system.

Baruch was formerly Israel's ambassador to South Africa.

Israel calls for attack on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for “a credible military option against Iran” to force Tehran to end its nuclear energy program.

On Tuesday, Netanyahu said that military action should be taken by the international community and headed by the United States.

"You have to ratchet up the pressure and… I don't think that this pressure will be sufficient to have this regime change course without a credible military option that is put before them by the international community led by the United States," he stated.

He went on to say that sanctions are not enough to stop Iran's nuclear energy program, and they should be backed by some military action.

He has made similar bellicose remarks in the past, but they were always rejected by US Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

Netanyahu made the comments a week after Tehran announced Iran's nuclear sites were being opened to envoys representing "geographical and political groups" in the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The invitation came ahead of the multifaceted talks between Iran and the P5+1 group — Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States, and Germany — that are scheduled to be held in Turkey from January 21 to 22.

Iran and the P5+1 group wrapped up two days of comprehensive talks in Geneva on December 7, during which the two sides agreed to hold the next round of negotiations in Turkey.

Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili represented Iran at the talks and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton represented the P5+1 group.

The UN Security Council imposed a fourth round of sanctions on Iran last year.

But Tehran says sanctions have failed to hamper its efforts to master peaceful nuclear technology.

And the IAEA continues to conduct regular inspections and camera surveillance of Iran's nuclear facilities.

Iranian officials say the talks provide an opportunity to display Iran's policy of nuclear transparency to the international community.

'Rabbi remarks show real Israeli face'

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef

Press TV interview with Political Analyst Hani al-Basoos

The Shas spiritual leader of Israel's ultra-orthodox party is calling for the annihilation of the Palestinians.

The leader's group is not a rare party but part of the government's leading coalition.

In his sermon, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef described the Palestinians as evil people who should perish from earth. He said HaShem (God) should strike the Palestinians with a plague. The Rabbi received immediate condemnation from the Palestinian Authority.

Press TV interviewed political analyst Hanl al-Basoos on the Rabbi's discriminatory comments and how this is typical of Zionist ideologies, not true Judaism.

Press TV: I would like to welcome Hanl al-Basoos, political analyst and commentator to Press TV. Now this isn't the first time that Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has made these types of comments and the Shas is part of Israel's coalition government. Previously he referred to Palestinians as snakes and vipers. Why do you think that he is allowed to fan this wave of hatred?

Basoos: Well we believe here that this is the way of thinking of the Israeli side. It is an evil way and it's the real face of the Jewish entity. It is the real way they think about Muslims. They think Muslims and Palestinians should not stay in Palestine but perish. They believe in the annihilation of the Palestinian people and this psycho-fanatic way of thinking about human beings cannot be justified at all. It is an illegal way, and such a person should be in a prison now.

In the past, [Rabbi] Shapiro mentioned something similar. He believes in the killing of children and Palestinians. Those people who believe in the killing of children do not belong to the human race. They do not belong to the justice and fairness that human beings should share. I think as I said before the Palestinian Authority should take action immediately. I think those Jewish rabbis (that believe in the killing of innocent people) do not believe in peace or justice at all. The international community should be awake and understand that the Israeli system has a criminal mind and a criminal way of thinking in which killing children is permissible. This is not acceptable by any means.

Press TV: How can the rabbi in a religious cloak speak so hatefully and not be condemned by the Israeli public, and by the other rabbis or Israeli officials and more importantly by the international community?

Basoos: Well first of all I would like to say that this call for killing innocent human beings is not accepted in the Jewish religion or any other religion . What has happened over the last several decades is the ideology of Jewish people who do not believe in anything but the creation of this purely Jewish state in Palestine at the expense of the Palestinian people. They are taking the rights of the Palestinian people. Now we have an international community that supports the Jewish entity completely and fully. They support even the killing of children in the West Bank and Gaza. We have these policies which have been used by the Israeli state against the Palestinian people. This belief and ideology has been adopted a long time ago by the Jewish entity. There was something established in the Jewish entity in 1948 and even before that.

The US supports the Israeli side at the expense of the Palestinian people and even the Palestinian Authority is now unfortunately cooperating with the Jewish entity. This is not acceptable by the Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza or anywhere in the world. We don't allow such decree to be adopted by the Israelis against the Palestinians. Palestinians would defend themselves here with the solidarity and the help of those international activists and peace activists in the world. I think the international community should awake today and see what the Jewish entity is actually doing. They should consider what will happen in the next fear years.

Rabbi slammed for promoting 'genocide'

The chief Palestinian negotiator has urged worldwide condemnation of Israel's genocidal figures after a top Israeli clergyman wished all Palestinians dead.

Referring to the Palestinians, the founder and spiritual leader of Israel's ultra-orthodox Shas party, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef said on Saturday, "All these evil people should perish from this world," Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz reported.

He especially desired the demise of acting Palestinian Authority (PA) Chief Mahmoud Abbas, referring to him by name.

The remarks raised eyebrows partially as it came from a party partnering with Premier Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud in the ruling coalition. They also preceded upcoming direct peace talks between Israel and the PA.

The Palestinian official, Saeb Erekat, called on the international community "to condemn incitement to genocide by public figures in Israel," AFP reported.

Yosef "is literally calling for a genocide against Palestinians, and there seems to be no response from the Israeli government," he said in a statement.

"He is particularly calling for the assassination of…Abbas who within a few days will be sitting face to face with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Is this how the Israeli government prepares its public for a peace agreement?" Erekat pointed out.

He said Tel Aviv had "to do more about peace and stop spreading hatred."

The Shas spiritual leader made similar comments in April 2001, calling for the annihilation of Arabs.

Dubai: Israeli premier faces arrest

Source: Al Jazeera
http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2010/03/201033465170139.html

The head of the Dubai police is planning to seek the arrest of the prime minister of Israel and the head of the country's secret service, Mossad, over the killing of a Hamas leader.

Dhahi Khalfan Tamim told Al Jazeera he would ask the Dubai prosecutor to issue arrest warrants for Binyamin Netanyahu and Meir Dagan this week.

Tamim said he was "almost certain" Israeli agents were involved in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, a Hamas commander, at a Dubai hotel in January.

Israel has has neither confirmed nor denied involvement in al-Mabhouh's murder.

The police chief said Mossad had "insulted" Dubai and Western countries whose fraudulent passports were used by suspects in the assassination.

Investigation expanding

And a UAE newspaper reported that Dubai had also asked the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to look into prepaid credit cardsissued by the Meta Financial Group's MetaBank which the suspects used.

Citing an FBI source, The National newspaper said the investigation would look into any Israeli involvement in the killing.

Quoting Dubai police, the newspaper said: "Thirteen of the 27 suspects used prepaid MasterCards issued by MetaBank, a regional American bank, to purchase plane tickets and book hotel rooms."

MetaBank said it followed proper procedures when it issued the cards.

Authorities told the bank that the suspects appeared to have used stolen passports to get employment with US companies, MetaBank said in a statement on Tuesday.

Dubai police have published details of 26 suspects together with passport photographs, and claim to have DNA evidence of the identity of at least one of the killers.

As a consequence of the assassination, UAE officials say they will prevent Israeli citizens travelling on foreign passports from entering the country.

Dubai police last Sunday issued a statement saying the "killers used the drug succinylcholine to sedate al-Mabhouh before they suffocated him" and that "assassins used this method so that it would seem that his death was natural".

Al-Mabhouh's killing has led investigators to Britain, Ireland, Australia and Germany - countries whose passports the assassins allegedly used.

UK official: We knew about Mossad assassination plot

Israel's Mossad had tipped off British intelligence that they were going to use fake British passports before the assassination of the Hamas commander, a new report says.

According to a report by the Daily Mail on Friday morning, the British intelligence agency the MI6 was notified before the assassination took place in Dubai last month.

The UK newspaper published the report several hours following a 20-minute meeting between the Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor and a senior British diplomat in London on Thursday.

The two officials discussed the British passports apparently used in the assassination of Mabhouh in Dubai.

A British security source quoted a Mossad agent as saying that "the British Government was told very, very briefly before the operation what was going to happen," the paper further added.

"There was no British involvement and they didn't know the name of the target. But they were told these people were traveling on UK passports," the Daily Mail quoted the British security source as saying.

On Thursday, Dubai Police chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim said he was 99-percent certain that the Mossad was behind the assassination.

Tamim said he would ask Interpol to issue an international arrest warrant against Mossad head Meir Dagan, and perhaps also against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu if it's proven that the Israeli intelligence agency was behind the assassination of Mabhouh.

Mabhouh, a senior commander in the armed wing of the Islamic movement, was killed in his hotel room on January 19 in Dubai by a hit squad of at least 11 people carrying forged European passports, according to the Dubai police.
