Egypt’s Military have Sold Out the Egyptian People to the Imperial Powers & Israel

By: Stewart Brennan
It appears that the Egyptian Military has sold out the Egyptian people to the Imperial Powers and are proving that they are a willing part of the larger US / UK plan to remove all regional opposition to Israel.

In a nut shell, the People of Egypt want the siege of Gaza lifted and the Rafah border crossing opened; So how the Egyptian Military or Interim Government of Egypt treat the Palestinians of Gaza is a litmus test to prove who they really work for...and right now they have failed with a capital "F" because the Egyptian Military have been tightening the Israeli siege on Gaza since they took Morsi out of office.

Here's a look at what has happened in the region since the Popular Coup against Morsi took place.

1. The Egyptian Army closes the Rafah Border and cuts all human life lines to Gaza.

5. The Egyptian Army have declared war on the people of the Sinai

The Egyptian Military are in the process of ramping up unrest in the Sinai region while locking down their border with Gaza. This is a tactic that has been employed by the USA, UK, Israel & the Saudi regimes throughout the entire Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa.

Here are three unrelated reports in regards to Egypt’s Military but are significant in the over all story of what is actually taking place in the region.

7. Prison Escapes in Libya, and Iraq planned by US Backed Terrorists will Bolster the decimated Saudi sponsored attack on Syria and in Egypt's Sinai

Libya: 1000 Prisoners escape as protests rage over activist killing

The Prison breaks in Libya, and Iraq seem to coincide with the need to bolster the terrorist ranks that are wrecking havoc throughout Syria, Iraq, and now Egypt. In all probability, some of these terrorists will now show up in the Sinai to give legitimacy to the Egyptian Military’s lock down and siege of the Sinai and Gaza. No doubt the terrorists will be magically armed because the terrorist groups and the people in charge of the said countries of Iraq, and Libya are controlled by the USA through the CIA, hired Mercenary Groups and other US Government agencies.

The US, UK, agenda is to smash all opposition to the State of Israel while enabling the Israeli destruction and ethnic cleansing of Palestine. For Egypt, this means destruction through planned divisions of the Egyptian people and for the region it means the destruction of all links between Iran, Syria, and Lebanon with Palestine.

Morsi Also a US Government Puppet

It has been well proven that Israel, and Saudi Arabia are active in the destruction of Syria while using the weapons supplied by all associated NATO countries including Turkey.

But in a surprise outburst of insanity in mid June 2013, Egyptian President Morsi declared war on Syria seemingly out of the blue, which begs the question “Why?” Why did Morsi support the overthrow of Bashar Al-Assad in Syria? The only conclusion one can draw is that Morsi was taking orders from the USA, which also means he was siding with Israel & Saudi Arabia who were also actively involved in the destruction of Syria.

Morsi Silenced

Since Morsi was removed in a Military Coup soon after no one has heard from him and there is a reason why you do not hear anything from Egypt’s former president. If Morsi was allowed to speak he would tell the World exactly what he said to the American government to have them stop the Israeli attack on Gaza in Nov 2012.

What deal did Morsi broker with the US Government behind closed doors to have them halt the Israeli attack on Gaza? Could it have had anything to do with the Suez Canal? Because the Suez Canal is the single most Important and strategic area in the World to the Imperial Powers and to the Saudi's. Unfortunately, we will probably never know, but it certainly would explain the reason why the Saudi’s no longer liked Morsi or why the USA stopped the Israeli attack on the people of Gaza.

Indeed, what deal did Morsi strike with the Imperial powers to boldly side against Syria and to side with Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the USA? In all appearances, Morsi sold his soul and paid the price in a double deception...and now the Egyptian Military which is also under the US influence has Morsi in custody after taking him out in a Coup.

Everyone deserves a fair trial...but of course the USA, does not uphold justice as we see in the case of Bradley Manning after he exposed the US Military for War Crimes. I believe Morsi will receive a fate much worse since they will want him silenced on what transpired during Israel’s war on Gaza. Egypt's Military has imprisoned Morsi so it is doubtful that there will be justice served considering that they take their orders from the US Government. The trial alone has the potential to tear Egypt apart through sectarian lines.

Morsi’s ouster was a tactical move on the part of the Western Imperial Powers. They removed Morsi from power, and at the same time, crushed the Egyptian peoples revolution through the sectarian division that rose with Morsi's ouster.

The Imperial powers have played their cards but they have been exposed by their actions and are very vulnerable should a sudden shift in position by the Egyptian people occur. If anything, the people, weather they are for or against Morsi are united in their hatred of the US and Israeli governments. If the people of Egypt take the road of reconciliation and move forward together to make real change, the Imperial Powers will lose and the people of Egypt will win.

Who Benefits from a Divided Egypt and Sectarian War throughout the Middle East?

In every single case, Israel and the Imperial Powers benefit, which tells you who and where the Egyptian governments and military commanders get their orders from.

The Egyptian people must unite if they do not want the Zionist Imperial forces to divide the peoples revolution. The Egyptian Military by its subservience to Washington is sending Egypt down the road of division, sectarian violence and chaos so that Israel can continue to destroy its neighbours in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. The Egyptian people must rise up together and demand the end to the violence in Egypt and also very importantly, they must push to end of the siege on Gaza...as goes Gaza goes Egypt and the rest of the World.

Final Thoughts:

The State of Israel and Saudi Arabia were created by the Imperial Powers to destroy any attempts by the Arabic people from uniting and becoming a power as they once were under the Ottoman Empire. The major reason is because a large portion of the Worlds oil and gas supply is under Arabic lands, and because Oil powers the Imperial Empires, they will do everything in their power to control it and thus will stop the people of the Arabic speaking nations from uniting.

Israel is the western wedge in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia is their hammer. That is why Israel was created in 1948 and why there is a push by the Imperial powers to create sectarian war throughout the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa via Saudi Arabia. Egypt is now the latest victim in this sinister plot.

Egypt is Palestine's Protector

Egypt must free itself from bondage by the Imperial powers and must continue to be the hope and protectors of the people of Palestine.

Palestine must be free and reunited for the people of ALL sects so that the native people of the region can live together in harmony once again…and that means a united rule that includes a peaceful coexistence between all sects and beliefs, be they Muslim, Christian or Jew. The enemies of peace are the ones pushing for sectarian division and sectarian dominated rule. They are also easy to spot.

In the quest for independence, the Egyptian people must seek out unity amongst all sects with moral foundations, help each other rebuild communities and rebuild a new Egypt.

The hope of the World rests on the actions taken by the Egyptian people in the coming weeks. Don’t let the Imperial powers divide or stop you in your quest for freedom and unity of all Egyptian people.

In vision, empathy and respect, I pray for you.

Israeli minister talks of new war on Gaza

Source: PressTV
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=121844§ionid=351020202

A senior Israeli minister has threatened that Tel Aviv will "liquidate" Hamas sooner or later, adding that Israel may even launch a new offensive on the Gaza Strip.

Israel's Finance minister Yuval Steinitz said Tel Aviv has not set a timetable for when it will eliminate the Palestinian movement, but he underscored that it would happen sooner or later.

He said Israel cannot tolerate the movement becoming stronger. Steinitz did not rule out the possibility of a new invasion of Gaza, saying Tel Aviv had no choice, but to take such action.

Israel launched a 22-day war on the coastal strip in December 2008. Over one-thousand-four-hundred Palestinians were killed in the offensive — most of them civilians.

The war also left thousands of Palestinians homeless as entire neighborhoods were flattened by Israeli forces.

Steinitz has also slammed the pressure from the US and the international community on Israel to alleviate the Gaza siege.

"American pressure isn't conductive and isn't fair, because the Netanyahu government made two enormous gestures toward the Palestinians: The opportunity to improve the Palestinian economy, and the settlement freeze," Haaretz quoted the Israeli minister as saying on Sunday.

"The US needs to understand that the atmosphere it created in the Middle East, makes Washington now less friendly to Israel, and isn't making the Palestinians more willing to compromise; it further adds to their rejection of the peace process," he added.

The Israeli minister's claims about Israel's settlement freeze comes as Tel Aviv announced plans to build 1,600 more settlement units in east Jerusalem (Al-Quds), which was occupied by Israel in 1967, a move considered illegal under the international law.

Auschwitz survivor sees Nazi acts in Israel

Source: PressTV
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=117179§ionid=351020202

A Nazi death camp survivor slams Israel over its occupation of Palestine, drawing an analogy between the Israeli army's indignations and the conduct of Nazi forces during World War II.

"The Israelis tried to dehumanize the Palestinians, just like the Nazis tried to dehumanize me," said Dr Hajo Meyer, 86, who survived 10 months in Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp in Poland.

"Nobody should dehumanize any other and those who try to dehumanize another are not human," he said at the beginning of his lecture in Scotland.

The octogenarian Holocaust survivor, who embarked on a 10-day tour of the UK and Ireland, called Israel "the world champion in pretending to be civilized and cultured."

The comments by Meyer have provoked a fresh outcry of "anti-Semitism" by hardline Jewish lobby groups.

However, Meyer, the Dutch-based author of three books on Judaism, the Holocaust and Zionism, dismissed "anti-Semite" labels hurled against him.

“Formerly an anti-Semite was somebody who hated Jews because they were Jews and had a Jewish soul. But nowadays an anti-Semite is somebody who is hated by Jews,” he stated.

A spokesman for the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, of which Dr. Meyer is a member of, backed the remarks.

“Hajo knows that Israel has a long history of abusing the tragic history of the Holocaust in order to suppress legitimate criticism of its own crimes," said the spokesman.

What the Gaza war meant for Israel

Source: Al Jazeera
http://english.aljazeera.net/focus/gazaoneyearon/2010/2010/01/201011392050370701.html

By: Orly Halpern

Omri Buson says his "blood boils" every time he hears about the negotiations between Hamas and Israel over the release of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

From his point of view, Israel should have never ended last year's military offensive on Gaza without Shalit's return.

"We needed to hurt them and not have mercy ... to destroy every house till [we] found that soldier," says Buson, who dropped out of law school to open clothing shops in Jerusalem.

He admits that his views have become "very extreme in the last year because of the war".

But he is not alone. Israeli Knesset members have expressed similar views.

Operation devastation

The Israeli military offensive named Operation Defensive Shield killed more than 1,400 Palestinians, more than 1,000 of them civilians, including 400 children.

Thirteen Israelis were also killed, three of them civilians.

Its declared goals were to 'Bring Gilad Home' and to stop Qassam rocket attacks on Israel. It ended after 22 days due to international pressure on Israel.

Despite the high number of civilian Palestinian casualties, most Israelis consider the operation a success because, although Shalit did not 'come home', the rockets stopped.

War against protests

Now, one year since Operation Cast Lead, not only have the so-called red lines for what you can do to your enemy moved dangerously forward, but so have the lines of what the government can do its own people.

Israeli polls and surveys reveal that Israeli society and government are less tolerant than ever of views that oppose the government stance, which is held by the mainstream.

Last month the Association of Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) revealed an alarming trend in its annual survey on the protection of human rights in Israel and the Occupied Territories - the conditioning of rights.

"The realisation of the entire spectrum of rights is now more than ever dependent on what we say or believe, what ethnic group we belong to, how much money we have, and more," says the ACRI.

"We have the freedom to express ourselves and demonstrate - only if we don't say anything displeasing; we have the right to equal treatment and opportunities - only if we are "loyal" to the state."

In the streets, the Israeli security forces are waging a war against protests by Jewish left wing and human rights activists, who non-violently protest against Israel's separation barrier or against Jewish settlers taking over Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem.

Many have been arrested and some were attacked by the security forces.

However, right-wingers protesting against the government's decision to temporarily freeze building in settlements are accorded much more leniency by Israeli law enforcement agencies.

During Operation Cast Lead about 800 Israeli citizens, most of them Arab, were arrested, with criminal charges brought against most of them.

In a recent editorial, the Israeli daily newspaper Ha'aretz called the arrests "an evil omen regarding the state's attitude toward protesters" and said that as a result, "concern is growing over Israel's image as a free and democratic country".

'Moral bankruptcy'

The infringement on the rights of Jewish Israelis comes as no surprise to Neve Gordon, an Israeli political science professor at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev.

"The war itself revealed the moral bankruptcy of Israel because if we look back we see the vast majority killed were citizens including hundreds of children," said Gordon, who has been under attack for his criticism of Israel and most recently for his call for an international boycott on his country until it ends the occupation of the Palestinian Territories.

"I don't think it's good for the morality of the country to kill children."

Buson disagrees: "If it were up to me I would close the water and electricity [to Gaza] until they return Gilad. Let them starve and die."

He says he opposes a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. "I'd rather Shalit die there than do a deal with Hamas.

"It's not about one soldier's life. It's about deterrence. They need to understand with whom they are dealing. Our deterrence was damaged after the second Lebanon war. Now we got it back."

'Lesson through force'

Indeed many Israelis were more concerned about 'teaching the other side a lesson' by using overwhelming force, than with the hundreds of dead civilians and the devastating destruction of infrastructure.

For the Israeli political leadership, military and much of the Israeli public, the Gaza war, as Israelis refer to it, was about scaring the other side into submission, so that it will not dare to hurt Israel again. And, many believe, that was what Israel succeeded in doing.

Yehuda Shaul, the co-director of Breaking the Silence, the Israeli human rights organisation that collects the testimonies of soldiers about abuses committed while serving in the Occupied Territories, says: "What I find most disturbing is that the military and most Israelis perceive [the war on Gaza] as a great success. They don't recognise the price tag."

"And the fact that the military sees it as a great success means that the second round will be similar," Shaul adds.

Shaul's organisation was attacked by the office of the Israeli military spokesperson, but he nevertheless hopes that some Israelis recognise the gravity of their actions.

He points to the poll by Tel Aviv University's War and Peace Index.

When testimonies from soldiers were published soon after the war, few Israelis believed them, according to the index. But when Breaking the Silence published its report of chilling testimonies in July, the War and Peace Index found that the numbers who believed the testimonies rose from about 20 per cent to 43 per cent.

'Cast Lead II'

Still, the overwhelming majority of Israelis (76 per cent) saw no need to reinvestigate the operation in light of the testimonies. The pollsters believe that because of the prevailing view that the campaign was moderately or very successful (79 per cent), "the Israeli Jewish public is reluctant to deal with the question of its moral and human cost".

Some Israelis who supported the war see it very differently.

Marek Glezerman, the director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Rabin Medical Center, says: "I thought it should be a short operation to stop the rockets."

"But it turned it to be a full blown war without concern for the other side and that leaves a very bad feeling," adds the doctor who is a friend and colleague of the Gaza doctor Ezzedin Abouelaish.

Glezerman believes that the quiet from the Gaza Strip is temporary: "The violence will come back. But at what price? It has not brought us closer to peace."

Meanwhile, some Israelis are talking about when Operation Cast Lead II will begin.

Filmmaker Loach urges cultural boycott of Israel

Source: PressTV
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=116198&sectionid=3510212

The acclaimed British director and winner of Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Ken Loach, has called for the boycott of Israeli movies at the international film festivals and cultural events.

“The massacres and state terrorism in Gaza make the showcasing of Israeli films in various sections of international film festivals unacceptable,” Loach was quoted as saying at a ceremony commemorating Israeli offensive on the besieged Gaza Strip by IRNA.

“Tel Aviv sponsors various international film festivals with the intention to open the way for Israeli films.”

He added the call for a boycott of Israeli cultural products comes from many writers, artists, journalists, lawyers, academics, trades unionists and teachers. They see it as “a contribution to the struggle to end Israel's occupation, colonization and system of apartheid.”

Last July, Loach withdrew his film ''Looking for Eric'' from the Melbourne International Film Festival in protest against the Israel's sponsorship of another filmmaker. Tel Aviv provided airfare for Tatia Rosenthal, whose film ''9.99'' is an Israeli-Australian co-production.

In May 2009, Loach as director of the Edinburgh International film festival returned a £300 gift from the Israeli embassy as a sign of his cultural boycott of Israel and in protest at Tel Aviv's policies towards the Palestinian people.

The Toronto international film festival (TIFF) came under fire in September for selecting Tel Aviv as the subject of its inaugural City-to-City Spotlight strand. Renowned movie makers including Loach, Jane Fonda and David Byrne were among those who signed a statement supporting Canadian film-maker John Greyson, who withdrew his short film “Covered” from TIFF after learning of the program.

In a letter to the festival, Greyson cited Israeli action in Gaza and the expansion of illegal settlements as reasons for his withdrawal.

A United Nations inquiry led by former South African Judge Richard Goldstone details what investigators call Israeli actions "amounting to war crimes, possibly crimes against humanity" during Israel's offensive against Gaza.

Tel Aviv is worried that charges could be lodged against politicians and army officers for war crimes committed during Israel's 22-day offensive against blockaded Gaza Strip. Top officials who would be in the judicial cross-hairs could include former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni as well as current Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

More than 1,400 Palestinians were killed during three weeks of Israel's land, sea and air assault in the impoverished coastal sliver. The offensive also inflicted $ 1.6 billion damage to Gaza economy.

Egypt builds anchorage to tighten Gaza siege

Source: PressTV
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=116199&sectionid=351020202

The Egyptian government is building a dock at the Rafah border in an attempt to tighten up and make the blockade on Gaza stricter.

“The new anchorage will enhance the work of the Egyptian patrol boats on the sea border with Gaza and prevent any attempts of smuggling by sea,” a security source in North Sinai told Reuters on Thursday.

“It is to secure the area. It will be used to direct fishing boats in the area to ensure they do not cross the Israeli sea border and risk getting fired at,” he added.

According to Egyptian security sources, the anchorage will be 10 meters deep and 25 meters long.

The Egyptian building work was condemned by Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri who called it a “clear plan to cement the blockade and the siege on Gaza.”

The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli siege ever since the Hamas resistance movement won parliamentary elections in 2007.

To help Israel implement the siege, Cairo has also been building an underground wall along its border with the impoverished coastal sliver.

The wall destroys many tunnels along the border that have served as a crucial lifeline since Israel sealed off the strip from almost all vital supplies. The wall will be 9 to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) long, and will go as deep as 20 to 30 meters into the ground.

Palestinians say they use the tunnels to transport basic necessities including food and medicine to the besieged Gaza Strip.
