Palestinian hackers have posted a picture featuring the Palestinian flag on the website of Yisrael Beiteinu, the party of Israel's far-right Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
On Saturday, the hackers made the website's homepage show a picture of the Palestinian activists holding the flag against the background of an Egyptian pyramid, reported the website for the Israeli media network of Arutz Sheva.
“In response to the radical Lieberman, the website for Yisrael Beiteinu, the party of the criminal Avigdor Lieberman, the Zionist regime's foreign minister has been hacked,” read the caption beneath the picture.
The hackers also backed a recent understanding between the rivaling Palestinian factions of Hamas and Fatah, based on which the two agreed to form an interim unity government and hold presidential and legislative elections within a year.
“In contradiction of your and all the Zionists' opinion, reconciliation deal will be signed. Await the signing of the agreement on Thursday in [the Egyptian capital of] Cairo.”
