Polish voters go to the poll in an election run-off to elect a new president after the death of former president Lech Kaczynski, who was killed in a plane crash in Russia.
Poland's 31 million voters can cast ballots from 6:00 a.m. (0400GMT) to 8:00 p.m. (1800 GMT) in the second round of balloting which was held on Sunday.
The election pits Kaczynski's twin brother Jaroslaw, the combative eurosceptic leader of the main right-wing opposition party, against Bronislaw Komorowski, candidate of Poland's ruling pro-business Civic Platform.
The run-off comes after neither of the two main contenders -- Bronislaw Komorowski and Jaroslaw Kaczynski -- could get an outright majority in the first round of the presidential race.
Latest surveys indicate that the race between the candidates is too close to call.
Lech Kaczynski lost his life on April 10 when Poland's presidential jet crashed in Smolensk in western Russia as it landed for a World War II commemoration. A total of 96 people were killed in the incident, among them Kaczynski's wife, senior politicians and military top brass.
